We had em in an above ground planter box, lol They still get away from ya!
I haven’t posted anything about the PBB in a while so here’s the deal.
@herojuana.tom was right about one of those two being a male. That was the best looking out of the two.
The other has been growing along. I took all the largest fans to open up the bud sites and she’s been doing alright.
Now, however, she looks like she needs something I’m not giving enough of. I’m thinking she is too yellow.
She went through nute lock before (in veg) so I am hesitant to bump it up too quickly.
What say you all?
Maybe I need to bump up the Nitrogen?
Thanks for stopping by.
Dang they looking good MO
Some rewarding smoke to be had soon …
Cut to the chase I think it’s the P.K part they r lacking in but don’t quote me on it lol
Hope all is well brother
I’d give her some more nitrogen cuz.
Any standard N-P-K ready made should do the trick, with just small amounts extra each treatment.
Thanks @Rabeats2093 and @JohnnyPotseed . I’m relying less on the liquid fertilizer this time. The powdered stuff I’m using is Cha Ching and Beastie Blooms. Getting this tuned in is definitely different but I’m thinking it’ll be a lot more affordable in the long term.
Cha ching and beastie blooms from fox farms ?
I’d say check your ph it looks off.
Yes. That’s what I am using.
I don’t have a soil pH meter. But I did check my well water, and it’s up around 7.
Cha ching is generally used for the last few weeks of flower to push out resins and other goodies …the beastie blooms is to plump them up and should be used before hand !
Just water till you get run off see what it comes back at . I’m guessing the ph will be high .
The Cha Ching is high in N. So I began using it during stretch. I started adding the Beasty Blooms last week.
I’ll do that when I get home @ShiskaberrySavior .
Thanks
It does look like a nitrogen issue but – it also looks as though the shaded buds and leaves are darker green? … and if that is so – it could also be too much light
I usually just use test strips or my blue lab meter . You can also make a slurry with a small amount of medium collected from the middle of the pot and check that as well for both ppm of feed as well as ph reading .
It’s a good idea to check. But just from looking I would say you need a touch of extra nitrogen.
I use Beastie and Cha-ching too. I use Beastie up until about 3 weeks or so from harvest. Then I switch to Cha for the next??? Until it’s about a week away from harvest. Then I only give plain water until the chop.
Also I use the additives in addition to my regular nutes.
Well, I have a few things to do when I get back home. Thanks again for all the help my friends.
Did you mention what ppm your feeding at if so I missed that info?
I’ve been keeping it around 1000 or slightly over.
Dang! I forget that I did the two applications of BBP! That explains a whole lot! I’m a blasted space case!
