Another small update. Probably going to flip in 10ish days? Pretty sure back right corner is a male but will wait to confirm.
Interesting that most of the time benders smell like straight up shit and curry right now.

Maybe it’s just the camera angle, but does that one plant in the front left-hand corner have a freakishly huge fan leaf going on? Looks crazy. In a good way haha.

I would say that looks male, but I like to let them get totally balls out before I call it. I would keep a mega close eye on it though.

It seems like it’s getting harder to tell lately. Usually when those pre-flowers or whatever they’re called are “crossed” like they’re doing in those pics, looking like an X chromosome, it was guaranteed female. But lately I’m having a harder time figuring it out. Looks like some balls are starting to form, too, though.
So… I don’t know haha! I’m guessing male, though.
I’ve been having this issue lately, too, where the pre-flowers are crossed (either with or without what looks like the beginnings of balls) and I’m certain they’re a female, only for them to show male within a week of switching to 14/10 from 16/8. Sometimes it takes even longer, like not until I’ve flipped to 11.5/12.5. Of course, that’s always after I’ve spent six or eight hours transplanting everything into their seven-gallon flower pots haha.

I thought the first one looked fem, but the second picture looks male.
@minitiger I’ve been noticing alot of plants with very different origins with similar plant structures…makes you wonder if people are using the same cultivar to get that plant structure…
Almost seems like a question for @TomHill !

Ummmm…. I dunno if I’d go that far. I just got done watering the vegging plants and all of the ones that are 44 days in (shit… It’s 44 days today; gotta get them in seven-gallons ASAP) look pretty different from one another. The Santa Cruz Pure Haze plants definitely don’t look like the Nikahs, which don’t look like the one Mountain Temple, which doesn’t look like the one Malibu Pure Kush cross. They’re pretty easy to differentiate, as far as structure, plant morphology, leaves etc are concerned.
Fucking NONE of them are showing sex yet, though. This is another thing I’ve been noticing in the last two years or so: it’s taking everything I grow like 50+ days to show. Sometimes they never do until, like I mentioned, the lights get decreased to 14/10 or even until I flip.
I dunno.

I had a plant smelling of curry in veg that turned to straight lemon & ammonia in the last few weeks of flower. Awesome plant!

First picture is Chocolate Buddha! Original cross by me! It is chocolope x (island sweet skunk x laughing Buddha).
Excellent branching. Also pulls purple stems from the mother plant! I think it’s more akin to UV defense with led lighting, but looks excellent nonetheless
Second pic is Time Bender #1. Still wanting to be a very squat plant. Maybe a wookie leaner?
Final picture is time bender #2. Taller than the other one, absolutely massive fan leaves on this one. Good spacing
Also killed time bender #3. As it was a male and chucking is not the purpose of this run!

Have also been pretty impressed with my vivosun hcf1600 light for my lil 2 x 2. Only running the lights at 75% right now will flip to 100% in flower

Ooh, that sounds real good! I love Chocolope, haven’t smoked any in years, but it’s great weed. Lil’ ISS and LB in there, too… Wow. All kinds of good stuff in that cross of yours haha.
