I have a dehydrator too, but never thought to use it when making cobs. I always did the vac bag hot water bath trick
@Moka let us know how it turns out, they look really great!
I’ve been watching you do this for a while. It’s such an interesting thing. I’d love to see what it feels like to try some.
That’s some funny stuff right there
@Oldtimerunderground
We usually use ours for fish and deer lol
I’m gonna have to check this process out sometime
The dehydrator is only to help surface dry before resealing the cobs.
Only dried them for around an hour before resealing for more curing
Smoked some of the 5 day freezer cure chocolate Buddha lowers.
-lots of balloon head feeling with some visual sharpening (3d effect)
-good music listening, seems more expensive
-giggly and happy high
-no body stone that I’ve noticed, although it needs further testing
-very pleased with early results/smoke is a bigh rough since it hasn’t been properly cured yet. Getting an overall aroma of “dank” along with some subtle tire and lime hints.
soaks beans
Does Bodhi still make time Bender’s?? Those look friggin great!
Got x2 Chocolate Buddha soaking, thanks again!
I was gonna drop them this weekend, but balloon head and limey tires got me feeling extra froggy haha.
I’m glad! I’ll keep my eyes peeled on your thread!
I think they were a one time release
Time bender at 72 days since flip. Getting close. Smell has changed to more of an oakmoss/sour citrus smell
That’s what I found on Google search…mostly to that effect anyway…
They look fantastic !!!
I was originally thinking about chopping at say 72, but I got lazy and busy with work. Good thing too it seems, smell has evolved, plant is stacking on density and has lots more purpling than before.
Time bender at 77 days or week 11. Probably going to chop in the next day or two when I have a day off from work
That second pic is fucking awesome. I mean, they’re all awesome, but that second pic is particularly impressive.
It looks like she’s gonna be kind of a bitch to trim, though, right? Not that that matters; I always anticipate multiple twelve-hour days trimming my six or eight plants or however many I grew, but she’s looking a little more “leafy” than I would’ve thought, considering the genetics.
Either way… I love that plant… haha.
Well thanks! She’s been a breeze to grow. Just a hempy bucket with maxibloom and silica basically. I’ll probably make a few more cobs with her and freezer cure the rest. I take the cheap route since it’s all for me anyway and just brush the leaves off when the plant is dried
Do you do that often? I honestly didn’t know what you were talking about, but I just read a thread about it on grasscity. Do you think that’s “better” than just the usual ol’ “trim and put ‘em in jars wherever” method?
I was turned on to it by @ShiskaberrySavior a while ago. Especially after reading
This piece by Ed Rosenthal. Doesn’t seem to harm the cannabis in anyway, seems to retain terps and strength as well
