That’s the difference between you and me :joy:

All but two Black Triangles have shot tails. The other two are just starting to and I haven’t taken them out of the water and put them in coco yet. Hoping the other two have cracked before I go to sleep tonight and I can have them all tucked away in coco.

These White Hot Guava beans have some oomph in them. Already pushing their way up out of the coco. Glad I kept these and a couple other packs from him.

Just waiting on those two Black Triangles to shoot some tails. Ten above ground so far.

Alrighty, all of the beans have cracked open and just waiting on the last one that’s cracked to officially shoot out a tail and then the last two will be tucked away into some coco. 100% for these beans on the germ. Now to get them all above ground and healthy.

Edit: Figured I’d share what I do with seedlings having a hard time shedding their helmet. I want them off ASAP and don’t like messing with delicate seedlings. So, I fill a cup with water and get a straw. I then do the old finger over one end of the straw while straw is in water, to get the water up in the straw. Then, keep your finger on the straw and just slide the helmet slightly up into the straw and water until a bead of water forms over the helmet and then gently remove the straw leaving the bead of water on the helmet. Whenever it drops off or is absorbed do another. Lots of times it only takes one time and sometimes it takes quite a few, but it’ll get them off quickly without risking killing a seedling.

I can see all of them pushing up and out somewhat, except the Black Triangle, but hoping to see them have some movement tomorrow.

The Black Triangle seeds are slow. Two are just out and I can’t tell if the other two are even pushing up yet. Still haven’t given these things any water or anything since I soaked the coco before soaking the seeds. Also, I can never keep seedlings short with LEDs. I have a 95-100 watt veg led panel on full blast less than 20” or so above them. I’ve messed around with just about everything with LEDs. Guess I need those LED T5s. Maybe I’ll do that one day, but I’m pretty cheap and lazy with this stuff. I do bury them super shallow too.

Check out the sf-600’s by spider farmer. Always had issues with leggy seedlings and slow growth unless over 80 degrees. These things are incredible for seedlings and clones in crushing personal records all over the place here. And all under those stay low, fast , healthy and explosive! They can be got cheap too! With prime day (ya I know prime :man_facepalming:t2:) I got them for like 58$ a pop no joke! 4 for 120$ give or take. Definitely changed my outlook on LED’s to start. My previous mishmash was a constant struggle now it’s almost surreal to just leave em on autopilot

Nice!! I’ll look for those to go on sale. Probably grab some shelves for the veg tent too. I’d prefer to not have seedlings sitting in a bathroom. Thanks for the heads-up!

Always brotha :facepunch:t2: ya shelves are my new love for Veg I think. Took me years to get all the stuff I wanted/needed to come together and trade/barter etc. for it but I couldn’t be happier, especially for my OCD stuff. It’s just right. I’ve got on email lists for a few good places that sell them as well as Spider Farmer themselves so once I see a deal pop up that’s worthwhile I’ll send It your way immediately

Home depot sells a 36x18” four shelf unit that fits perfectly in a 2x4, fyi

I was just there the other day looking at them. Haha Need storage shelves for my garage and started looking at shelves for my veg tent while I was there. Shelving unit on one side of the 5’x5’ and then mothers on the other side will work well.

I use three of the shelfs, 3 trays fit on each shelf. I can fit up to 6 moms in a tray.

Top Shelf lol @TopShelfTrees1 = Moms

Middle Shelf = Baby Veg

Lower Shelf = Clones

With these lights zipped up:

Getting close to tossing these Black Triangles. They’re just above ground, but not shooting up like they should. Everyone else is great.

Probably just old…. Don’t do it. Trust me, it’s an absolutely stellar cultivar! One of the best I’ve grown still to this date, dank, funky, greasy triangle power and longevity with that extra narcotic oomph from the g13hp. I did an adage a while back and those are already having issues apparently as I’ve handed the majority out. He has re-released it recently but up until then it was 3/4/5 years since they were available anywhere

Pretty sure this is what my others are in my Veg tent, just not from Home Depot. I got em with my big ass shelf, exact same just considerably smaller. Think it’s 4’ high too, just don’t get the casters, or if u do, Toss em, they make it so much more unstable albeit convenient I’d rather have to struggle to move than have my plants topple on my mommas

I know it’s good smoke. Was counting on at least one of these to give me smoke I really like, but oh well. These just seem like duds to me. I have three 10-12 year old seeds, the White Hot Guava are older, BBW 2.0 are older too and they’re all growing no problem.

There will be some @santero and @stanknugzz77 gear in here as well for this hunt. I’ll give all the details once I get them soaking. 5’x5’ tent for this arrived today too. Eventually I’ll get a shelving unit for one side, but I’ll need to get all new lights for that, so a ways out for sure. Going to try to grab some more coco and pots tomorrow or Friday, but might have to just order them. Can’t drive six hours for some bags of coco and two gallon fabrics.
