Why don't tent manufacturers just use panda film?

It seems so logical to me!! I’ve seen so many people use panda film alone as a light proof curtain. It works!! These tent guys all use mylar and they ALL have light leaks. ALL OF THEM!!! So why not just use panda film to line tents instead?? I’d gladly pay the extra in manufacturing for a tent that actually works like it should, and I’m sure everyone else would agree. For the record, my Gorilla Lite 4x4 lights up like a damn lantern in a completely dark room. So much for those guys being the be…
