Mother of Berries IBL Project (Original)

Documenting from one of my longer term projects, Mother of Berries IBL. This cut is a New England staple. The goal being to bring her to as close to an IBL as possible. I’m currently starting this project and will be posting up here from start to finish.

This cut has been in my family since it was found over 35yrs ago. The result of an accidental pollination of a Freezeland (Jerry Berry Cut) in an outdoor crop due to a Blueberry Male being missed and not culled. I’ve held this cut for the last 20yrs and my uncle held her for 15+ yrs before gifting her to me. The most spot on Blueberry nose I’ve come across. More so than pre 2000’s DJ’s Blueberry. And packs a kick to her unlike a lot of other Berry strains I’ve experienced

I’ve given this cut out to a couple dozen folks over the years and I’ve always wanted to attempt to recreate her in seed form.

The first step in my journey was to outcross her to a really phenomenal Blueberry Male I found. The seeds were gifted to me as Blueberry worked to F9 from early 2000’s DJ Short Blueberry stock by a grower named Mystic Funk and Green Wolfe Seeds As with any cut/seeds, you have to trust in Folks word as being true. But we shall see.

Holy Crap! That Jerry Berry Cut!!! That thing was a staple up here about 10-15 years ago, a real commercial workhorse. Excited to see you work through this, and see what comes of it. 35 years of progeny too! Very exciting @Electric-Stoner, and welcome!!!

That’s Cryptic Labs, brother. Serious genetics, and his Oaxacan Gold has been making the rounds here in a serious way.
Cool project!

Way to kick the door DOWN!!! That, indeed, is a well-known, but hard to find NE Staple. It’s also known as M.O.B., aka “Maine’s Own Blueberry”. There’s a Dispensary in Farmington, Maine that has Clones every now and then. It’s a lovely plant to grow, lovely fragrance, and not real “fussy”. CONGRATS on this grow, continued success, do stay safe, and by all means, be well…mister :honeybee:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: SPECIAL NOTE: Sorry I forgot… :fireworks: :fireworks: :fireworks: W-E-L-C-O-M-E!!! :fireworks: :fireworks: :fireworks:
