Just a warning about “Smart” plugs… they occasionally have glitches, which can cause unexpected results.
It is very rare, but happened again recently.
One of my timers was “offline” in the app and when I checked, the damn thing was on when it should have been off!
I’m grateful it was for the background lights, but still sucks.
Gonna have to be super diligent looking for hermies.
I may go back to old-school timers that have a dial w/pegs.

I had this exact problem happen to me with a smart plug/app. It is now demoted to general household use.
Never really investigated what happened, but probably won’t buy another one.
I use Kasa smart plugs. I can run a schedule so it’s set to turn on at 5:59 and off at 6 and then so on and so forth. I prefer it to my Amazon plugs I had. You can have as many cycles for as long as you want but it’s a minimum of a minute run time.
