Really happy with the results 2 big zip locks .
All done in under a hr longest thing was getting the buds cut off to run through the trimmer . Maybe 15 mins of actual trimming .
I envy this
Fuck sakesā¦ I wasnāt ordering anymore seeds this year. I was done. Then @TopShelfTrees1 has to go and mention how good the black dosi fire is, and I just happen to see Joti has a 2 for 1 plus 20% off sale this weekā¦I even swore off Jotiā¦now I have 2 packs of black dosi fire for $40 incoming. Iāll probably never even grow them out. SMH
I hear ya itās taken a lot years of hand trimming to realize how much I appreciate not having to do it any more countless weeks at harvest time .
I honestly donāt think Iād grow ( who am I kidding? ) definitely not do the trimming though too many years of driving/trimming carpal tunnel kicks in quick.
Better to have them now than later when do get the urge to grow and canāt find them .
This is true. And I probably will get to them, just eventually. Even if only one plant, seed will be popped.
Yo @Jetdro where you at man?
Better light picture of the buds .That big bud could of run though a second time to get it a bit tighter but there not going to a beauty contest.
great work man! the buds look tasty!
someone close better go to his house and drag him back to his laptop by the dick hairs!
sick harvest man and i spent about 15 hours total on my harvest so i am jealous as fk of that trimmer.
Well Iāve put a hold on seed starting till my new starter trays arrive. Hopefully theyāll show next week and Iāll have better luck not killing everything I touch.
Probably burnt through 30 / 40 seeds and have maybe 7 to survive.
So much for ordering those trays looks like there out of stock there as well. Back to looking again .
Have you switched soil by any chance?
Iāve tried seed starting soil but my recycled 6/7 year stuff has the same issues . Best luck lately is worm casings .
Figured I mention it ā¦I made my own soil one time and went on a unintentional seed killing spree drove me nuts .to hot for seedlingsā¦ perfect for young plants
thought about starting seeds in rapid rooters ? kinda pricey imo but seemed to work fine for me last time
Good luck finding them . Iāve been looking for the general hydro brand that come pre soaked .
Found a site in BC that said they were in stock now Iām waiting for my money to get returned as they sent a email no longer available.
u may know these tips however-
i mostly do hydro myself but am also a little educated in soil horticulture too, what i prefer especially with good pricey seeds i only have a few of is drop a few in 24 degree c water not too much hotter not too much colderā¦in cold winters a pet heat mat or reptile mat may be neededā¦let them soak for 24 hours then into wet non fert toilet paperā¦if mat is too hot a ceramic dinner plate between mug of water and reptile mat should stop over heatingā¦
if seeds pop within 12 or even 24 hours since placed in mug that usually means they are going to be vigorous plants.
some seeds will pop in 8 hoursā¦i prefer those but the vigorous theory might be wrongā¦just once as soon as tap root pops, then put in non ferted rockwool or jiffy cubes, be careul not to bruise tap rootā¦then into soil or for me hydro
one thing ive found i could be wrong about is hermies sometimes are vigorous too as in my theory herms show positive traits and genes of male and females so sometimes are very vigorousā¦good luck good thread.
ph levels dont seem to matter too much imo with first soaking seeds in my experience eitherā¦but too hot soil or water will damage seeds.
Thanks Iād just heard of the hot water trick the other day . Iāve got a couple heat mats as well which Iāve used in the past Appreciate your info will be trying the above method once the veg room clears out.
