My 1st Grow (Bruce Banner+Gelato)

Thanks dude. I was wondering why everything on top of the lights could unscrew. It brought the temp down a few degrees👍🏾

I put he/she outside and gave the girls a foliage spraying w/ pH’d water, hopefully didn’t pollenate the whole gang…:crossed_fingers:t5::pray:t5::pensive:

That’s like a megahermie lol wow. None of the others are showing any signs of it? They look very healthy and happy!

I’d recommend keeping all your outtake fans and getting rid of the intake. Just open a few intake holes in the tent instead. The sides of the tent should suck in a little bit when it’s closed.

Not that I can tell. Some kinda look like They have pollen sacs, but Most of them have bloomed already. I’ve never seen bud at this stage, so I’m sorta in the dark! Lol But ANYWAY…I’d keep the bottom vents open, but I think maybe that’s how I ended up with 1 hermaphrodite  either had to be a light leak, or it’s because I defoliated too late… I bought feminized seeds, so any different outcome is my own fault lol

Yes light leaks will definitely caused hermage. You want it so dark in there you can’t see your hand in front of your face. Make sure there’s no LED lights on powerbars or anything like that also.

Sometimes plants just go herm due to their genetics, so it might not be anything you did either. At least now you know what to look for!

Any suggestions or ideas on exactly where/how to position my fans inside my 2x4x5 Vivosun grow tent?..I have 7 plants in their 5th week of flowering (five in 3gal fabric pots+two 1.75gal in plastic pots). Lately, whenever I go to water, one random pot will have somewhat moist soil still. Maybe I just have too many plants for this amount of space, but lemme know your thoughts! :open_hands:t5:

Fans inside:
2 oscillating pole clip fans
1 small floor fan (8”)

*one osc. is higher up; facing a little downwards.
*one osc. is lower; facing upwards.
*floor fan is aimed from corner towards all.

I tried lowering all the fans, but felt the breeze was too much for them to handle…is wind burn a concern while in the flowering stage?..

I have 2 fans for circulation. They are pretty powerful.

One blows above the canopy, the other goes under the canopy (I grow tall plants and aggressively prune the bottoms).

Neither of these fans really blow directly on the plants but more circulates the air around them.

You want the leaves to all be “dancing” but not be blown into oblivion.

In your position I might try the 2 pole fans above and the other fan below assuming your plants are tall like mine.

All the best

I use 1 fan for circulation, I’m 4 x 4 x 7. I usually sync to the lights unless the humidity is high.
Some plants cut back on their water at the end of flower but 5 weeks sounds too early for that.
Yeah, 5 x 3Gal + a couple spares is a little busy for that size depending on the veg.time. You can easily do that number of plants but you need to go to 12/12 early - like week 2 or 3 to keep them small.

Thanks my dudes🤟🏾

Luckily tho, the season finally changed here and now I think I’m gonna need a heater instead  lol… my temps the last couple days have been 69degrees(MIN)-76degrees(MAX) and it’s gettin colder each day

I’ve dealt with temps down to mid 40’s at night (I don’t suggest it though) without seriously harming the plants though it does drastically slow down growth, 65+ temps you’ll be ok

Yoo! So I was wondering… can I defoliate the bottom branches/leaves that aren’t really growing adequately?.. or is it too late to even try to mess with them?..they’re all about 5 weeks & 3 days into Flowering stage. I’m planning on letting them go the whole 11-12 weeks, and gonna start flushing on week 9. Holla back👐🏾 Lol

I wouldn’t bother at this stage unless the canopy is too dense and your humidity is high.

Or the leaves and buds are visibly yellow from not getting enough light.

If they are developing healthy buds let them do their thing.

All the best.

Ok ok… I’ll probably just let them be, then.
The humidity is almost always between 40%-50%, so that’s perfect. And only one plant has a few super yellow leaves towards the bottom…but I read that it could be from the upper buds pulling nutrients from parts that are not getting enough light. Everything seems to be going smoothly, just noticed that the lower branch buds are still in baby mode. Suuuper tiny.

I’ll try to take better pics tomorrow when I’m watering them :raised_hands:t5:

Now… I’m tryna figure out why my strongest/tallest girl is starting to change pigment. The stem and leaves are changing to a light green.

…is it nute burn, or is that normal?..cuz I read that when the leaves start turning to yellow, that it could mean harvest is nearing & to stop using nutrients…
In 3 days, they all start the 7th week of Flower…any advice would be appreciated!.. :pray:t5:

Starting to yellow at week 7 on a 8-9 week strain sounds about right. The pistils should start to receed and the cylax should begin to swell.
