My 2nd grow just started 14/02

Hello folks,
Thia is my first diary @OG and the second grow in many years.
I am using a small box for seedlings and a 2x1.2x0.6m closet for the rest of the veg and blooming phases.
I am using 7L pots and a led lamp with veg and bloom switches, 275w power draw.
This time I start on 14th Feb. placing the 5 seeds on papper towel, just 24h later I had 4 nice tails and one dull seed, it may come to open tomorrow.
I was really excited and didn’t took any pictures of the seeds.
This time I’m going with 5 seeds, 2 whiye widdows because on the last grow this strain was very nice on my setup, the other 3 are Critical, I am hopping to end up with 6 plants, I will try to clone one of the widdows.

As usual I am using all mix soil, and I will use biobizz adds to the water.

Hope I have that one in the soil tomorrow😬 and hope to get one picture of it.

What kind of light are you using?

Don’t use any nutes and it won’t be a problem.
It’s likely your soil is already full of synthetic fertilizers.

I am using a 1200w rated led lamp with 2 switches, one for veg, other for bloom phases but I use both on all the time, the real power draw is around 275w, more than I used in the past, 150w Hps.

Are you shure? Biobizz all mix has nutrients in it but I kind of like the biobizz chart, keep me on timing but if you say so, I will try without? Or half dose?

For millions of years microbes and fungi have fed the plants.
You can topdress with kitchenscraps, especially bananapeels, grass clippings, tree leaves, nettles, dandelion, thistle, etc.
You can keep adding a wide diversity of organic matter, it’s gonna keep sinking into the soil as it decomposes.
That’s the no-till way of doing things.
Cheapest and most natural. :slightly_smiling_face:
Needs much less water too.

If you use a stacked pot setup you can grow a bunch of nitrogen fixing cover crops as well.
Then you create a nice balance between decomposition and supportive growth.
Basically, the more things grow at once, the better.
It all helps eachother.

I know about that but I’m very green on growing and I get scared by the possibility of doing something wrong while doing that dscomposition myselft.

Maybe I got nutrient burn, and it is just 2mm on the tips of the leaves, because I kind of water every day, just 200ml of water each plant and I always get some on the bottom after watering.

I am getting some bad results maybe because of cold temperatures, my closet is in a small division and gets air from the outside, so I needed another heater that I have now working but my babies are about one week from harvest (not the ones in this post) and I have small buds, really small, most pistils are brown and I have plenty of white thricomes, but not big colas or bud swelling as I expected.

I have 3 white widdows and one special queen and the special queen vegged 2 months, the WW 1 month because 2 sq seeds failed to sprout and once again, cold, too cold back then. So in order to take advantage of power consumption I placed more 3 ww. I was hoping to have smoke for 3 months but now I see it will hold maybe one month, so this 2nd grow I will add more two plants and see how it goes.

Here a picture of the 4 plants and one close up on ww main colaIMG_20220215_214701

So I think 100% germination rate, sprouting nicely, there is only one Critical that is some hours behind but coming nice, if I don’t kill them within 5 days, success.

5th day, time to give them more room.

Within 3 or 4 days I will move them to the big closet on the final pots so they keep vegging.

All good so far… 6th day.

Every time you water your plants, give them a little longer in between waterings.

If your last 3 waterings were every day, try going a day and a half between waterings. Then next time try 2 days. This will help your plant develop it’s roots quicker because the roots will have to seek out water in the pot.

As an example, I water my 2 month old cement shoes plant in week 2 of flower every 4th day.
