My Bodhi Dreadbread F1 OP

Recently thinking I should be switching to a vape instead of smoking out of a bong like I’ve done for years.

Any recommendations? I’m looking for a dry herb vaporizer, preferably a portable one. I don’t dab much or mess with hash near as often as I used to.

This brand is pretty expensive but I still am considering it…

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

merry christmas! i have the crafty+ and would recommend it for sure. if you will be using it alot without a plug near i would get the next model up at least, i know it has double the battery capacity(mighty at least the new one im not sure).
i also have the volcano hybrid, but it doesnt get used very much i always reach for the bong at the house.

I tried one once but didn’t care for it. Mine was called the Vapir… but it was years ago, they don’t make that product anymore… the technology looks to be better now adays. Just looking at them… they newer models look so different from the insanely large contraption I used to use to fill these big plastic bags with vapor.

So true the last time I really used a vaporizer was just a volcano kind and that was at least in maybe 2009 or 10 lol so I think there’s much better options now especially with the portability of chargeable batteries instead of needing to be plugged in the whole time

Holy shit that’s crazy I’m not sure if I’ve even seen one of those haha :joy:

The volcano is still #1!

I’ve used tons of different vaporizers since that old Aromazap used to get promoted on the old forums (2002~)

not my picture but the old design…

Now I have a Mighty+ and I’d say it’s a portable device that’s on par with high quality desktop vaporizers. Heats up fast, temp control, large chamber, tastes better than other portable vapes.

I used to have a Planet of the Vapes ONE vaporizer and their old design was really small, compact and portable. Didn’t taste as good as the Mighty+ but it also was very pocket friendly as a trade-off. Mighty+ is kind of big. It’s about 1/3 the cost of a mighty but it looks like the design has changed a bit.

I’ve never used a crafty but I bet that’s great as well, storz & bickel make quality products.

Do you use the metal “capsules” with your mighty? I like being able to carry 8 around and switch them out quickly.

Edit. I also have the small bowl for the volcano which is the same size as the crafty and the mighty I think.

Yes I only use the capsules with both the mighty and POTV one. Keeps the device cleaner too. The Mighty+ capsules are thinner than the POTV capsules but you can also get a big pack for a reasonable price as well.

They sure do keep it much cleaner. You don’t need to carry around the brush. I also find you can use the capsules a few times each and then have to clean them since they get sticky. Still haven’t had to get a new 40 pack just throw them in some alcohol.

I can only speak to what I have and what I’ve used from friends, which are mostly older stuff, but I like both my Dynavap M and S&B Plenty. The Dynavap is cheap, small and easy to use on the go, and there’s a whole ecosystem of OEM and aftermarket accessories from small makers that’s pretty great if you wanted to customize. I want to get a battery operated induction heater case for it and ditch the torch, that’s a pretty futuristic one hitter bat setup.

Dynavap has 15% off through NYE

There are lots of premade heaters but also some cool DIY kits for heaters:

The Plenty was also the least expensive way to get access to the same heater oven as the Volcano, but in a format that’s portable in the sense that I can easily put it into a bag and take it to a friends house, I just need a wall plug when I get there but it only weighs a pound or two and has a monster bowl (again same as the Volcano you can use the accessories like herb disks interchangeably. It’s pretty rockin and simple you just gotta get into the whole heater working in waves thing, which, coming from torching nails or a Dynavap, makes sense but it takes a little more learning curve than most. What really got me about it is that there’s no restriction at all when you draw, it’s totally free flowing from how oversized everything is.

I remember I used to vape Agent Orange nugs… including fresh flower as soon as it was harvested… and it had this mentholated minty orange taste that was delicious. Best tasting stuff I ever vaped. Nowadays I stick mainly to glass pipes. Been smoking the last of my Gush Mints today. This is my first Christmas without children at home and it’s been glorious. All these NBA and NFL games today are definitely keeping me entertained.

@Weednerd.Anthony and whoever else is reading this… hope you’re having a great holiday.

I’ve been vaping since 2008. Started with a whip style vape…cant remember the name for the life of me. Had a Magic Flight Launch Box too! Vapes have sure come a long way since then.

Here’s what I have and would recommend:

For portable, I have a Tinymight 2. It’s pricey but hits pretty hard for a portable. It’s customizable too, you can get different stems, use a cooling unit or not, etc. I use the stock setup but it has a lot of drag…but it’s discrete. I like how it has a replaceable battery. This is the wife’s daily driver.

Also have a Fury Edge. Pretty sure it’s the same thing as a POTV One. It doesn’t hit as hard as the TM2 but the flavor is better. My other gripe with it is that the quality is kinda shoddy. The plastic mouth piece is chipping and cracking. this has happened on multiple mouth pieces. No replaceable battery.

TM2 > Fury Edge

For a desktop vape, I have a Flowerpot B1. Here’s how it works. The video is a B2 but it’s the same concept.

Even though pricey as hell, this thing hits like a freight train! I love that it needs a bong. Nothing compares IMO. So I use dosing caps for TM2. The same amount of bud in the B1 hits much much harder since you can extract the whole thing in one hit as opposed to having a session. I’m still playing with it, trying to find a nice temperature/balance between power and flavor. This is my preferred vape and way of ingesting!

Happy New Year to all!

I hope everyone here on OG has a wonderful year full of dank awaiting them.

After countless things that fell apart since summer 2022, including grow plans and personal life stuff, I’m ready to start over this year and get fully back to business as usual.

I finally have the time to start my giveaways of packs I got in trades, packs I bought, and freebies too. And I’ll be preserving some older seeds to give away here on OG. Finally!!!

I definitely feel like I owe this community so much from genetics, to the support and positive energy I was given during some very difficult times not too long ago.

For preservation I’ll do mainly Bodhi out of production packs like crosses from 88G13HP and Snow Lotus males, and will wait on the Wookie crosses until he stops restocking them at the banks that carry his seeds.

But I can’t neglect my older pollen chucking plans to preserve any Subcool gear or donate it for preservation to someone who has the ability to do it sooner, like I did with the Vortex.

Numerology is interesting to me so I hope this is not against the rules topic wise, but here’s a snippet from something I was reading relating to how the year 2024’s number is 8 and my personal year number is 8…

I wish everyone here on OG good vibes and blessings to come
