As you can see, still lots of neglect, with all the ugly leaf. a few more pics.
The first clones of Amnesia Star from flower power seedbank. Parents are USC’s Amnesia with a Derga Corra Collectives Sensi Star.
I hard chopped a Big Chillz, and prepped that, like I did these. Into tubs of medium.
Will be doing a Mac V2, Mac Stomper, and Granny Mac are on deck now.
a quick swish in water and roots are clean and go into 4" pots. Ezepeze.
I finally got all my upstairs work done, and could spent time subterranean.
Got the middle F&D area air handling sorted.
Had to cut into the main run, add a Tee, reduced down to 4", then extended that sort of over the F&D, well when I set it up today maybe.
I’m also getting ready to flower the 1st F&D, that have the pair of Mac Stompers, a granny mac, and Mav V2, that were all very small, but have rebounded and looking sexy as hell. Got to cut2clone them first.
Still not sure how I’ll time the F&D’s, as I bring each into a flower. Off set by x amount of hours.
#1 6am to 6pm cycle.
#2 would snap on at 9 pm to 9 am.
#3 snaps on at 12am to 12pm
With a couple to 3 weeks between each flowering F&D.
The tent, will be given away at some point, sooner than later, once I chisel out a dedicated clone/veg area.
A couple of tent snaps.
The Mac Stomper is a beast! Very thick and heavy bud! Very sticky, and very fragrant when molested, by the scope.
The killer grape is very fragrant when stimulated by the scope, she can almost turn my stomach, as I scope her!!
The Amnesia Star, is looking sexy as hell also. I never ran this before so I do not know what goodness she brings to the table.
She does look sexy my brother
Finally back to cutting some buds!! The last tent is still being cycled.
I do have all 3 areas now with electric, timers, LED, exhaust, set up.
I started murdering the light leaks, between each area. The over drape of the panda sides is working well as doors. On one piece I chose to reuse, the panda is just a touch shy of the floor. So I stapled an edge to it and all light killed off.
The F&D tray, has been in veg mode to to out grow the ugly I caused the plants.
They have all been cloned, and tonight will first day of flowering those 4.
The Big Chillz and Mac Stomper, both Cap’s work, are just stunning. Looks potent, but we’ll see.
Take care!!
well the screen is set on F&D 1, the timer set to 12/12 for the first month, then 11 on 13 off to finish.
A Mac V2, a Granny Mac, and 2 Mac Stompers, in the F&D. Medium coco husks, lrg chunk perlite, worm compost, DrEarth organics, and sometime a kicker of Botanical ferts.
And in my other area, all my air layering attempts are fails.
Now that’s thinking outside the box!
Cheers
G
A couple of Mac Stomper pics, she will come out today and start her culling process. Her buds are hard, sticky. I wish I had done them better.
The Big Chillz, is about 3+ weeks out till finish, I think anyway.
I got a brain zap reading in Escobars thread the other day. He mentioned he dropped using foam in is Mapito mix. that mix is what made me conjure up my mix I use now, but it’s not the same, but it LOVES the F&D set up, as my potted plants struggle, they are rocking. EXACTLY the same food source, the only dif, F&D running 24/7.
So I’m going to sink a 3 gallon pot into a tub, graduate the outside for 5 gallons of solution, a small pump, and inserting a plant today, as I make another one today.
Enough blagblahblah.
That is the updates for me for now.
Back to bird gourd fountain making, tubponics, and room divisions, or delusions in a day of a tinkering fool.
I absolutely love the colors damn skippy I’m jealous .
I’ve got a Mac cross that’s calling me now lol see it’s all your fault I’ve got to crack more beans
That thread that Eskobar got going is very informative and got me thinking about mapito also
Hey Webe! man, you are killing it. What are those red/pink plants? Is that Mac Stomper?
Beautiful colors make it that much more enjoyable. That may be the most color I’ve ever seen from indoor growing. Nice work! peace
Hey Papa, Gman, I can take zero credit for the intense pigments, that is all GrowLightsAustralia LED’s. And Capulator’s genetics, and yes, that kola topped one is Mac Stomper, and I’ve never sampled her before or yet!!
We had friends in Cali that sort of put me on to/vouched for Cap’s stuff. It was way to expensive for me. Once I got a few folks to all pony up bucks, I bought what I could, and everything is looking like fire.
Thank you both!!
Can’t wait to hear what you think of Cap’s stuff. I’m a virgin to them, too. Should be fun to watch!
Took a few snaps of the 2 I yanked from flower. Flower Power Seedbank Hypro Widow 13, then Capulator’s Mac Stomper.
I wanted to show the true colors, or out of the tent snaps. I’m a bit shocked how colorful they are. And hard!! I did not clean or trim the MS, she is on a time out in the dark, until farther notice.
Pic 2 shows wow the color is stellar
But 3 &. 4 are awesome hats off to your skills my friend
Since reading in Escobars mapito thread, I’ve noticed that my tray grows are looking way nicer than the ones in pots are.
Same medium, my blend of large chunk perlite, coco chips or husks, different names from different makers.
A portion of peat, Dr.Earth organics, I do have a small portion of hydroton in the very bottom of the trays not the tub.
The only differences are the 24/7 pump running.
A year or 2 ago, I realized that my organic medium and CNS work perfect together. Then when I found Master Blend Tomato fertilizers, with the Calcium bag. SUPER CHEAP growing fertilizers. But you can not run salts and the big O together, or can you.
BUT I’m still getting 2 different results in pots to F&D trays.
So I decide to make a constant feed tub to hold a plant. It has a 5 gallon capacity, and I did alter a 3 gallon pots for more drainage, by just adding some extra holes.
I also support the pot underneath it, so the flimsy lid does not need to.
I then cut a Mac V2 more than in 1/2, or deep topping, if you prefer.
The plant seems to be LOVING it, as it’s has shown not a second of needing acclamation going from organics to salt based ferts.
I once believed the evil salts robbed us of taste, of terps, and ruined the medium or soil.
What utter nonsense!!
Plants need a balanced diet, roots suck up goodies where it’s found. Over fertilized plants suffer. Under fertilized plants suffer. Microbes feed the the medium so roots can feed off their poop.
It was the mapitito runners, that made me rethink my old set in the ways, with the thinking of: organics GOOD…salts BAD!!
Reading Escobars words on why he dropped foam from his mix, sent me on a mind trip, and made me really rethink.
This tub really makes my life easie. My mix has come about due to basement growing, and I can not get heavy bags of soil down, then back up the stairs later on.
Big Chunk perlite buying the big assed bag is very lite weight, and last for ages.
Coco husks are bricked, so I buy a few whenever I’m around them, and I hydrate them with ReCharge added.
A bale of Sunshine Mix #4 lasts a year, and hell I may drop it altogether.
I’m still using the 50 lb bag of hydroton, (tray drain area) and it’s has lots left.
Pics or it did not happen!
Cheapo Sterlite tub, cut maintenance opening, graduated for 5 gallons of fluid, opening for 3 gallon altered pot.
Removed from pot into altered pot then into tub.
Week later, pump on 24/7, Master Blend salts.
Take care!!
Man this tubs save me a ton time as my medium dries out fast.
Made another one yesterday, and using the pumps extra power, as I always buy up over what I need as far as pump power goes.
Now I can 24/7 feed a plant, and have a feed tube lead over to a potted 10 gallon plant to feed that one at the the same time. Drippers rock!
Now I just got figure out proper flow rate, so I do not need to remove the feed tube after 3 hours.
Bro you , fish and Escobar are going to talk me in to switching to mapito one of these days
Bro the tub you mad is awesome
Hey papa, hell I think I stole some of it from you also, and those octopots. I know they (mine) are NOT really octo’s, nor is it mapito, nor is it standard hydro. A bit of all of it really, as they start life in an organic mix. Then I fed them salt ferts.
All my hand watered pots seem to porpoise between nice and shitty in appearance.
Once I add a steady flow, PERKY BITCHES, they get, and stay.
Well I applied 5 million nematodes yesterday, from BioLogic Company, I sprayed that stuff, everywhere yesterday. I added some in my resevoirs to be pumped from the top down, after I spray bottled the surfaces. Some went into my tote of medium waiting to be used also.
We’ll see.
Update: in a bit today.
Waiting
