My Final Rebuild or Running Till I'm Composted

Hey Pap’s, to funny man!!
The tubs are sleeping for a bit yet, and are going batshit crazy!! Got to build them a screen ASAP.
I defoliated the tray with the Mac V2, Granny Mac, and Mac Stomper.
I also pulled a Big Chillz from the tent, and added the last flowering girls to ever be in a tent. That tent will be my veg area, after I add a second floor for germinating and cloning. The lower portion for hard veg and training.
I’m so ashamed how I let this grow get away from me, so I’ll be working them, cutting, shaping them early on.
Take care!! webe
Tray before defol.

After defol.

All kidding aside great job like always my friend

What’s the genetics of the big chillz ?

Hey Papalag, that is Gorilla Glue #4 x Big Mac from capulator.
And on another note, I just went in to area 2, where the 2- tubs are, and the 10 g pot reside.( I resurfaced for my camera, and saw your message.)
Well they have out grown my LED foot print, so I’m re-deploying the California Lighthouse from retirement into active duty!!
And I got to build a screen for the tubs today, as when I looked in a minute ago, damn they blew up!
So I’ll make the screen short and stuff that cabbage under it come hell or high water! It will be ugly for while. Never a dull moment!
I hate to turbo post, but I sling up some snaps later on.

Oh damn, what a long day, and I still got to hang that LED today, there is one more hanging chain to fasten up in the floor joists, as it’s so crowded in there now.
A normal human being would done this WAY earlier, but I severly under estimated their growth, and of course had other things going on, but it’s not a good excuse for really shitty planning on my part.
I’m using Speed Rail, I pilfered (NOT STOLEN) from job sites many years ago. Aluminum poles, and hand rail fittings. I had to make a wheel chair access into my mom’s house back in 2009, and this rail I used was just pieces of that, I had stored away. I also pilfered (NOT STOLEN) fittings, elbows, tee’s, crosses, everything to put cat walk decking, stairways, handrailing around a web newspaper printing press.
Goal for the scrounged parts!!

Kind of mad growth since she was in there since 2/28/22 BUT she was a bigger girl to be screened, due to my poor planning.

And the completed screen and frame, and lots of pulling branches up through it, and some mild cutting. Will cut her a bit at a time down below.

NOT PRETTY, functional…I hope.

That Speed Rail is nice stuff… Good Score! :+1:
That’s 1.25" OD (if I recall correctly)…

If you ever need more of the tubing check to see if you have a “Metal Supermarket” in driving range, They are not wholesale but they generally have inventory.

Beautiful job switching over. Looks like you haven’t missed a beat. More than one way to skin a cat, eh? I love the colors. All of those came from the one seed bank? Nice yielding, too. Keep up the green thumbing!

Hey Gpaw, your correct, it’s a nice heavy wall. Thank you for that link!!
My son and I would build crazy weather structures, when tent camping, trout fishing. But when MANY others were going home due to driving rain, we would be out there, fairly dry, around a fire, not being run off or in a wheeled box. Dang we had so much fun, just making due.
The colorful ladies are from Capulator, he started Bean Basement, I found it when Santero, ran into an early Escobar post over there.
What I love about it, almost every member, must do a PUoSU, a Put Up or Shut Up thread, by running a thread from clone or seed to harvest.
It’s a fantastic community, full of all types of growers, lots of information exchanges, lots of really good folks, and tons of breeder folks. A true speak your mind site. And, the guy engages with the threads, not every single one maybe. A direct and open guy for sure, love him or hate him, he don’t run from the hard questions. I love that.

[Much like the early days of Sannies, we were all seed selling handles for him, hell I was, I liked his gear, was great in 2008. Not so much the last few packets I bought anyway. The Sugar Punch went from a must have strain to eh, I can live without it, as it’s very watered down now. At least the Dutch side is still running for him.]

Cap offered a sweet deal last year, as well again this year, but I was a broke assed bitch this year and did not nor need to get back in, as I got a LOT os beans to explore now. Seed gazing can cause FOMO, and before you know it you got an shit ton of seeds, and not enough days left on Earth to run them.
The Hypro Widow 13, and Amnesia Star are both from Flower Power Seedbank, at SeedHeaven, for very cheap cost man! That pink bud was his, and it has a very nice upbeat, stone to it, after you smack the tree.
I’m soon starting my Hyp3rid’s offerings, SAWA` line, and I want their whole line…see, damned FOMO strikes again as I type!!
Take care!! webe

Same problem here…
My only solution is “I need more tents…” :vulcan_salute:

So many plants… so little time…

Lots of pruning to the tub’s yesterday. Trying to take some each day over a sever cutback.
I also tried to do some in pot cloning tech, I read about once.
I just bent some lower branches down to the pot’s surface, and poked a hydro line securing peg down in the medium, and pressed the stalk, down to meet the medium while attached live if you will.
It should root from the branch end. well that is the theory of it. We’ll see.
I also poked a few cut’s in as well, some directly at a solution feeding tee, and a few by the stalk.
These are just mostly to get the idea out of my head, the only way I fine peace, in my tinkering fool brain. I have another small area to clone more proper like.
PRUNE PORN:
No not naked older lady photos, you perv’s, LOL!

I will also know if the Big Chillz behind the tub’s will be a bud’der or a baller today. Was looking like a switch hitter yesterday. BUT now I got some space, I’ll NOT killer her/it off, but allow it to finish out for the edibles she has to offer, I got plenty of buds.

EDIT; BALLER, gone now from that area.

Just an update: Tent area, is rolling along, and I’m finally got all the plants that were being held, are now either building buds, or buds are curing, or are in a holding pattern (the herms) as I want to allow them to mature more so, to be processed into either a tincure or edibles, one way or the other.
I never had any space to just keep a hermied plant, but always had an idea some good meds may be in there. So, off to the vegetable side, area of the basement. Also I started to harden off my tomatoes, so they are upstairs now.
Tray area plants are getting very frosty now. Ilean is doing fine, she is still just hanging out gathering up some buds, she had such a hard life. I love how the orchid clips work work to hold her down to the screen.
I also used the orchid clips in the tub’s area, pulling the tops into open sections of the screen, for a bit more uniform screen coverage. The in pot cloning I’m doing for a *What If) experiment, seems so far not a failure, I guess. Not sure of the out come, but always wanted to know if roots would pop on a growing small branch, then if I can remove the rooted part and save the branch. More likely a waste of time, but phucket I’m retired now!!
My first station, but last to be fired up, has 2 big girls in there, and I started some hover screening. Hover screening came about, as I wanted to open up the top canopy, wider, to let more light in. But I let them get to leggy, and needed to get them under their GLA LED. So I started to get the garden wore out when I had a Dune moment, and could see a different way! The spice vision, had screens dancing in the tops, swaying without anchors, freely, with just buds hanging it in space!
Well I wish that happened, I’m just an old scrounge, and had screen laying about as I’m a messy phucker, is the reality. But it did open up the crown very well.
Today, I make a water box, as close to escobars as I can, and some of his rescleaner, as I got pool shock, and some other goodies. Thanks Esco, so glad to read your posts again!!

Have good one!!

Hey Papa, man I love the space, I have now. I can walk all around my grows now. All reaching and hanging on to wee poles to support my fat ass just sucked.
I just snapped a few of the tray grow. MacV2, Mac Stomper, and Granny Mac.
I think Granny Mac, is going to make folks stumble bums out of us!!

Got good crop steering numbers also!!

The tubs today. A pot full of organics, and tub full of slat based tomato ferts!!
Then to add some cuts to clone, in the pot while the top flowers!! Who Knew!
Well I did not dig any out yet, so it maybe bumkiss. The cuts are standing, not dying, so forward.

Best to ya’s!

Well it’s time to start some new and old genetics!!
Hyp3rid I found some of their products over at seedheaven, a MOST EXCELLANT source for value hunting.
I found SAWA IBL = Mother | SAWĀ #5 – Lemon Thai X [Lime1 BX x SBSE]
Father | A full breakdown of our SAWĀ ’Negus’ F1 Male / IBL line is available
I also got SAWA Natty = Mother | Heirloom Lambsbread X ’78 OG LA Affie
Father | A full breakdown of the SAWĀ ’Negus’ F1 Male / IBL line is available
They include the freebi for EACH one!
A 100% germination rate, SAWA IBL and SAWA Natty…and the freebi’s!!!
So the clock is running on those!!
I also have collected some seeds that popped up in the Killer Grapes I got from Santero a few years ago now, so these would be S1’s, I guess. Some of those grape plants were so loud during simple plant maintenance during late flower, the stench was so strong it turned my stomach.
So they all got germ’ed also.
New genetics always brings me up!

Over in the tray grow, the pump endured a failure, and I’d not had visited it for a couple of days.
When I peaked in, the granny mac, had a slew of ugly curled leaf, that looked to me like a spike in PH to the alki side of the PH scale. I did leave Illean in that area for now, she was not quite finished yet, and in a separate pot so no worries. She looks naked of trichomes, but pluck a hand full of leaf, and she is a glue trap. So anxious to sample her, soon.
Upon checking it, after NOT hearing the drain, nor a clogged sucking air pump sound, I checked the PPM’s @ 350-400 and the PH went over 9.0, and after getting down on the floor, could smell that faint whiff, of a Sulphur, way to anaerobic I guess, so that told me, this pump had been off for a bit, probably well before my last check in. Damn, shame on me!
So I cut the plants after scoping them, and started to clean out that Aqua tray, and got a pleasant surprise, but without my camera.
I found worms in the medium, a few nice big night crawlers!! I guess the eggs came in the compost, when I mixed up my medium.
But hell, with my pump running 24/7 (until it did not anymore) I just figured it would be way to wet! But there they were, loving life, under the panda cover, fat an happy.

I guess it could be a blow to the crowd that seems to think how bad salt based fertilizers are to garden life.
As I once believed that also, and so glad I decided to check that stuff out over spewing it as common knowledge.
I love that damned Tomato Food fertilizer, ( now) and so damned cheap to run! Thanks Papalag, for running the octo pots, lurking in your threads, reading absorbing, taking notes, finding Tomato Food.
Cleaning medium today, and resetting the aqua tray.

I am forever lurking in this thread and absorbing all info

air layering attempts. I’ve got to try that I’ve got a neighbor with a fig tree I want a cutting I think I’ll try that

Thanks for sharing what you do bro

The tubs got some much needed love yesterday.
As I’m rebooting the tray area, the equipment, removing big gnarly root chunks, that the outdoor compost area will LOVE, and all the spent juice and bottom sludge, that is just organic fertilizers, and compost, all got distributed around our property to the ornamentals, fig tree area, to the raised beds, one is for vegetables, the other is a dedicated asparagus beds. Almost nothing went down the drains.

Back to the tubs area.
I’m about a month out to finish flowering them. I could hear one of the pumps calling for help.
The pump bags had roots growing through and into the wee pumps, got that sorted out. Need a fix for that, it’s not a big issue, but want to slay maintenance demons where possible.
The In Pot Clones (IPC’s) got cut out of the medium.
It was ugly. I doubt they will make it, but I did pot them.
Another,I got to see if this works idea is now out of my head. I hope anyway.
Cleaned the bags, reworked some fittings, vacuumed the area, and took a few snaps.
The old California Lighthouse LED adds a lot of heat. The systems removes it well enough, but I’ve noticed the GLA’s add almost no heat at all. Soon will not use that LED, but keep as a back up.
Mixed up 10 g’s of nutes, 700ppm’s, PH’d to 6.2. I added some cool bloom, this mix.
Have a great day everyone.

Man I love the orchid clips!! Makes screening so quick and easy, over all the wire wrapping or tying, that I did before.
If your of the religious persuasion Happy Easter.

Looking great Webe! I love stopping in to see what you’re tinkering with, lol… always something. I saw that cloning method somewhere else recently. It would be a good idea in the right setting. Did you get a nice set of new roots?

Hey, who was that pant in post 54 under the SAWA seed pics? The Purpleish buds… I really like that structure. It’s a pretty plant.

Oh, happy Easter! My B-day is 3 days after, 4/20! @lefthandseeds has the same one. Someone else does too, but I forgot who. Great time of the year. peace

Hey Papa, Gman,
The in pot clones made nice roots, then some old dude came in, stabbed a knife down an all around them to remove them, well sorta ripped out of the medium. I did put them in cups, as they need to go back to veg.
FAIL for me, but may try it once more, but with a twist I learned from Gardeners World. Well I also need to make an extraction tool.
Gman, that plant was from one of Flower Power Seedbank or Collective, I got over at Seed Heaven, A Hypro Widow 13.
Take care all!
