Hey Moka, Thank you!! This the first plant, been growing (with knowledge) since 2000, smoking it 50+ years, and she is the first I had an emotional connection with. Felt like I was killing Old Yeller !
But I got over it.
Paps, Thank you man.
The Tubs bud numbers, will be ready tomorrow. But it’s looking very nice for us. The Tubs are about as simple as it gets, well maybe.
The F&D Aqua tray with the very dry top space is really keeping the gnats at bay this run.
Note to self, give the drip and squirt hoses the finger, if this wicking pans out. Growth is explosive for sure. I do not look in on them for days at a time, and wow!!
Check out day 22 pics, up above, against this one today.

I used most of my orchid clips already, but I know they will make more!

Well I finally have firm number’s for the tubs area now. Did a bit of raw sampling, non cured at all.
I did not weigh the stalk/stems, stalks are the thickest I’ve ever grown.
Nor did I weigh the fan leaf.
I did weigh the sugar trim, for butter, 240 grams, 120 g’s per plant, should get 8 very good sticks of MMJ butter.
Bud weights:
Frosted Cheeks 200 g’s of super sticky, very potent, succulent. The bud texture’s like pieces of hash, when preparing to roll one.
Silky smooth as you inhale, as I pas the joint, she explodes trying to get out of your lungs! Then as you hold the hit for a few seconds, waves of her power, just surge across the brain, that wavy, head flutter as you exhale, a thick pine, floral taste that is so delicious! A fantastic smoke!!
The stone starts fast, and runs deep, runs long, not couch lock, not really ready to rumble along with your day. We sort of got the baby bird head bobble going on for a while, a nice deep Happy Daze feeling. Very nice body stone, my aches from digging out a new flower bed yesterday went bye-bye, thankfully. She’s mosdef a bell ringer!!

Mac V2 gave us 200 grams of super sticky hash like, buds!!
I prepared some to roll up, what a chore as it’s so sticky, but got it skinned.
I always take a deep draw through a fresh rolled joint without heat, to taste the plant scents, terps, on my tongue. It’s almost indescribable to me, the purest form before heating it??
After lighting her up, you know you should have buckled up, for her smoke is powerful, luxurious, a cedar, cleaner, fuel, taste.
Each hit you take, is like being punched in the head!
We did not make it through, to roach that joint! It is damn rare, and this is my third harvest of V2, but this one, is a reeking slammer!!
My wife found the stone almost to deep for her…at the halfway mark!!
It’s also a stone that creeps upward, for the first hour.
I got 4 things started, and not one finished, as my thought patter would not function in a straight line, and that was a couple hours later, for fucks sake!
Potent and long lasting.

And now my favorite soap opera starts, As The Bud Cures, a month long show!!
Next taste test, 1 month from now.

The tubs, are now reloaded. I was going to work the wicking action in them also. But after a day or so, I did not see the lift, I wanted to see, from the plants.
Again, my backwards ways, I should have repotted them a week before hand. But my 3.8% Neanderthal pokes out and I’m repotting and reloading the tubs all at one whack, so yeah, plants were not happy campers.
I got the fed tubes back out, and mainlined the pots with squirt tee’s like the first run was, just timed the pumps right off.
Bud’s are all nipped, 80% dried, and going into either glass or seal a meal pouches.
The Hypro Widow 13 is the most purple I’ve ever grown out.
Her raw taste, is amazing for such cheap priced seeds.
She worked hard to hold a position against some very expensive (for us) genetics from Capulator. Mac Stomper/ Granny Mac/ MacV2/ Big Chillz.
Those strains were flat out street fighting for first place.
MacV2 is the winner, she has us faded in the first few hits, and becomes a chore to get a pin joint finished, so potent, so delicious, and plenty of it.
Then Hypro explodes with color, at 1/10th the cost, and now that we got to sample her, makes her, the buy of the last year, bean purchases!! Fantastic value!!
Very delicious, great taste, with an excellent buzz, all warm an smiling, with a bit of mad giggling going on.
Oh yeah, building a juice cloner. I went to the hardware store, bought some PVC fittings, ordered some spray tips and wee net pots from Amazon. Picked up a pair of cheapo totes for a couple of bucks… Had an old pump laying around, to use.
Took about an hour to fit it together. Then about 20 minutes to drill and tap some threads into the PVC parts.
Did a quick run, it was leaking badly, but I just needed to see the spray pattern. Today I’ll sweeten her up a bit, install the net pots, and load it up, with some luck.
I made some Esco Res Cleaner, and damn that is amazing stuff. After I get it working and before I load it, I’ll run a cleaning cycle.
Mad love all.

Hey Paps, that was just a quick test set up, it leaked like a mofo!!
But the sprayers worked a treat!! I have a drill/tap set for standard and metric sizes. They suggested M5 tap, with sized bit.
Not going to use collars like normal humans would. Net pots with hydroton/Lecca instead.
Then from escobars wise words, his Rezy cleaner works FANTASTIC!! It made very short work cleaning up my tray and resy after I cut that harvest down.
That reloaded tray, on coco mat wicking action, over feed lines or top down feeding, is just freaking amazing, as the top medium is dry, so zero gnats this run so far.
Hell I do not even check on it for 4-5 days some times. When I can hear the drain water pipe starts to sing it’s bubbly wee splashy sound, I check values, then top it up, recheck values, pick some fan leaf, see you in 4 or 5 days. Such an easy, lazy grow, to run.
Take care!!

Yeah I’m that lazy grower I could set it and forget it also

But being retired I got nothing to do but play lol
If it’s not my inside garden then it’s the outside veggie and flower I’ll play with a few hours

I guess that’s why I always have something in dirt

Lol :joy:

An update on the tray run. I’ve been watching for the gnat bloom, and for whatevere reason, it’s not happening yet.
I’m about 5 weeks or so into this tray run, filling the tray from the bottom up, about 4" to 5" of juice surround the base of the 4 3 gallon organic filled with goodies. Master Blend fertilizers, and I found MorBloom is a GREAT PH down source, and flowering fertilizer!! A 2 for 1 additive, that cuts the cost IN HALF!! A lower cost additive in it’s own regard, but it’s drives PH lower to perfect numbers.
This tray is teaching me far more than many of my past grows have. I love that shit!
I walked in the tray area, during lights out and snapped these.

I’ve got to give a huge Thank You to Escobar, for his time, in posting up his Resz Cleaner solution, and cloning tutorial. So easy and cheap to make, and this stuff, has removed the reservoir crude like nothing I ever used. GREAT help man!!

Have a great day with your family and friends!!

Hey Moka, it’s super cheap to make. Pool shock and distilled water. Since from new, I’ve always poured a splash of H2O2 in the tank, to keep it clean, so I use it for watering, making tea, and it’s a fine distilled water source.

Imma grab one myself. I run hempy buckets and it’s tough getting the salt buildup scrubbed out after each run, so I’ll definitely grab this

Dang, some stuff takes me forever to do.
Since the rebuild, I’ve wanted to get my veg area in the last tent I own, well except for camping.
I had some pieces left over from the kitchen cabinett package, the trim sticks, for hiding spaces between stuff, or so I think anyway.
I had 3 long sticks, and I had a wire shelf for inside an outdoor storage unit, the big thick plastic boxes we stuff shit we do not want to see outback in the yard…
I cut the ends of the shelf, trimmed off the hang tabs. Bent the back tabs, on edge down.
Then cutting up the sticks of trim to fit under the shelf, for a nice shelf, to fit in the tent, for a pair of 10/20’s to hold, fresh cracked beans, fresh transplants.
Then plenty of room for 1 g’s pots, to get my perpetual set up rolling this year.
So simply, yet took me about 3 hours to cut, fit, nail together. Old guy syndrome, slow as phuck.
A scrap item shelf, I really needed.

Ciao

Your plants look amazing brother…

I have used in pot cloning method to clone roses and hibiscus when I was growing up…
It never fails to root, but transplanting is a PITA…

my kid brain never thought to bury it directly in a seperate container close to the mother plant…

Hey ya alwaysnoob, glad you stopped in!!
We have been watching a show from BBC, called Gardeners World, I do not crap about flowers, ornamentals, and laying out a garden, I really suck at.
But this year, I built myself a soil sifter, and the wife and I just completed out first true flower bed.
We dug up the soil about 2 shovels down, sifted it, separated the rocks/stones/and weed roots.
Added some compost to the bed. We went all around the property and dug up where the last owners planted bunches of daffodils, tulips, and something else, maybe 150 bulbs all together. Then put them all in that bed, with a lilac, few other dug up things.
Will not see them for year, or never, LOL!
Got a half acre to go!!
Take care, glad you stopped in!!

Well something new for me, but not new to the world at all. I had all this sugar trim from the tubs cut, and it is/was potent trim.
I got to decarbing a bunch of it, and was going to make butter, as it eliminates my wife of night sweating, like nothing else ever has.
but when I check her supply, I have lots of it.
So, I got on line on the MBM website, and read the tincture sugar recipe, had everything to complete the task.
Here is my first quart of sugar trim, Green Rx Sugar
Wet, in pan.

Freakin Mary knew her shit: A spoon full of sugar is the medicine that goes down!

Finally have the veg tent sorted. Cleaned it up, washed the floor, got every one up potted and new things poppin.
New poppers, area few ORFN’s, or S1’s that were found on the rolling tray.
Pretty sure they are all the 3 variebts of Honey Badger Haze’s, I’ve kept. The past summer was brutal for me and the plants, so a few seeds, was not a worry. We’ll see.
I only keep the ones that came from something I felt it as special, in some manner at the time.
Island Sweet Skunk x East Coast Sour Diesel.
Derga Corra Lemon Thai repro. Damn I had to go run down my list.
Sweet Island Skunk.
From OG, the 21 Box of Chocolates crowdsource project, started and completed by the most excellent Worcheshire_Farms, Thank You, Diggy for the 3 grips of beans, so I popped some of each,
marked as 2020, then 2021, then a grip of what I think are apple fritter x kashmir .
Diggy, Thanks again!!
Then the Killer Grapes, and SAWA Natty, and SAWA lines!!
On the left, a couple of granny macs, one has a playdough smell to the buds, the other is more potent, oily type buds. Then a frosted cheeks maybe, I’ll recheck that.
Just open a Frosted Cheeks, about 3+ weeks into cure. It’s a delicious sticky pinner joint weed. Small amount big whack!
Anyway, thats my update!!

Well well what a stunning day!
All the wee ones are in 4" nursery pots except one, that was looking off .
Got a bit closer to getting my clone tray running. Just got to cover it, and let it run a few days, to find it’s issues.
The tray, is just hammering along. Wicking, easiest growing, ever for me. Still zero gnats, in the 4 tray plants.
Been sampling the harvest from a month ago, from the tubs, the MacV2 and Frosted Cheeks from Capulator.
It is some of the most potent weed, I’ve grown out in years. Not just a big hammer, so very succulent, such a strong taste, silky smooth when inhaled, and explosive as it fights to get out of your lungs! Then wave after wave of blissful waves washes over you, and you realize it’s your hit again, as you just wander in your head, giggling as your in just so deep!!
Frosted Cheeks, may be equal, or a tiny bit behind the MacV2.
FC is a soaring high, a super delicious taste also, deep stone, lots of laughter and positive vibes.
Pic’s or it did not happen!!

And the tart cherry tree litter!! We gave 30 pounds away yesterday to family. That pic is one very small portion of those. We also have 50 - 60 quarts packed away. And there is still a quarter of tree to pick yet!! No fertilizers or pesticides used ever on it.

Keep suckin air everyone.
