My Final Rebuild or Running Till I'm Composted

FINALLY tart cherry season is over!! 105 pounds of tart’s off our single tree!! They are huge fruits this year. I had pruned it back in January, and it did get snowed on after blossoms popped also. Never fertilized, nor sprayed with any bug juices, ever since we bought it as a seedling, maybe 7-8 years ago now.
Up where I pick up our CSA portion yesterday, (a box as in my pic) was sweet cherries, $7.50 a box/quart maybe. Crazy!!
Onward to todays latest tinkering fool contraption. The Poor Boy Clone Box. Simply as I’m in a rut with cloning, and tired of my perlite and cups, it works fine and all, just need to change up a bit. And since I made a big batch of Ecobars rez sanitizer, I might as well have some uses for it.
A pair of 28 qt. under bed totes, 2 for $5.00 at the cheapo outlet, ours is called Ollies.
might be a 400 gph pump, some tubing, new pots, hydroton, random spray heads from amazon, cheapos also.
A stupid simple set up.
Bottom tote is the reservoir, the pump tube goes up into the second tote and connects to the spray tubing, and the jets soak the 3" nets with hydroton.
I have wet run it a few days, and have 99% of the drips sorted out.
Added some rez cleaner to cycle a couple of hours a few minutes ago.
Next, I’ll topping SAWA~ Natty, SAWA~, Killer Grapes S1’s, and I’m not remembering the rest right now, damned old dude syndrome.

Take care all!

My cloner juice was not measured and checked correctly, and I failed.
Cleaned it up, and will restart today.
Had to get a new CAN 66 yesterday. Will install in a few minutes, then ozone saturate the old one. Since the new filter is double ($178.00) what I paid for my first one, 10-12 years ago, I will clean it, over trashing it, and I got a beast of an ozone machine.
Now for some garden area snaps. The tent will flower out the last of Caps, gear. I may run some more later on, but for now, SAWA` is where my eyes are at now.
One more topping, or cutting to clone. Then flower time. Veg time is boring to me. BUT so necessary!
The first panda area, is my veg area now. Had to lose the wee table, and bring in a fold up. Makes it a bit tight but very workable for me.
I’m running some Seed Heaven gear this time. The Killer Grapes are S1’s (ORPHN’s) OR Honey Badger Haze S1’s just to see what pops out of them.
Some Island Sweet Skunk x ECSD. Some Derg Cora, Lemon Thai repros. The freebi packet of Sweet Island Skunk F2.
Then Worcheshire Farms, seed run, offered to OG’ers. a grip of each, 2020, 2021, and unlabeled grip that could be Apple Fritter x Kashmir. If not that, I do not care, it will be good. A big Thank You to diggy, and OG!

Will post up a few more below.

Hey Paps, that seed score came from a run here. It was my first one to engage in. Years ago, I would buy/pony up some cash for beans, when someone need cash from being busted.
Then like all things, people started to scam the system, and all charity fund raisers got the boot. Shabang always told us to trade in PM’s, beans clones, and no bitching in threads.
I did a few mini cooler cut trades, where we met up at rest areas, on the expressways. We each came with the same color cooler, and as we would eat a sandwich at a table, I’d slide my cooler over, they slide there over, maybe quick peek, shake hands and rock on.
I did not know Diggy but I read enough of his threads to know he is a true human being.
He sent my grips of beans as he said perfect send. One grip was not there, and I did not care at ALL. He stated in a note, he needed a bit of time for the last grip.
It was in my mailbox, in like 3 days!! I mean, that shit is GOLDEN!!
He has threads running on BB!!
I saw Jetdro posting over there also, man he is a smart guy!!
If it is AF x K, I’ll be thrilled. If not, I’ll be thrilled, as he have me way more then I expected, for my wee donation.
My rebuilt area is giving me far more bud, thick, meaty, stinky, potent as fuck buds, than I counted on getting.
I maybe looking at slowing down a bit, as I’m still smoking some of the first cuts from the start of this adventure.
Take care paps!!

Sometimes, my lack of comprehension, to stuff right in front of me, just blows me away.
Yesterday, I had an area to dig up, and wheel barrow, that soil back to the garden area.
Was not a lot maybe 7-8 wheelbarrows worth.
Being 65, now I got to pace and switch up the work, after some of digging, I did some indoor gardening for a hour or 2 before digging some more.
I could hear a sipping sound, so I knew the trays reservoir, was in need of topping off.
It’s been a perfect circle this run for dehumidifier water usage. In the time it takes for me to empty out 10 gallons of huey water, into my rolling mix tank, that I refill the 20 g reservoir, that needs, H’mmm 10 g’s water!
So I refill reservoir, give it a quick check, when I notice, the rear left plant looks finished, as the other 3 need a couple of weeks!! Mind blow! Same strain, Amnesia Star, all started the same day, but she is weeks early, SWEET!!
I get my trim board, branch cutters, and snip off all her branches.
As I’m cutting them, the intense blackberry smell, starts getting very strong!
I mean really stinky!
Even with all the lower leaves removed months ago now, my hand was sticky from just the branches being moved about as I cut them.
About an hour after I started to work from the trim board, I hear my wife has come home. As she comes in the door, (back side of house) she yells out, “Hey did you go up and pick blackberries at the orchard today”?
Then she answer’s her question, with “hey they are not is season yet, we picked black raspberries last week, black berries are not in season yet”! Why is that smell so strong?
Then she came into where I was snipping at, smiling, like I know something good is in here!! “That smells of blackberries so strong, when can we sample that”? 10 days or so dear.
I also made my first infused Honey, from a local apiary.
Mad love to all, got to go get our CSA portion, and it is a stunningly beautiful ride on the Big Ruckus!!

Web is that a magical butter machine?

How do you like it I’m still doing things the old fashioned way
But I’m thinking  about getting that thing

I missed a major sale waiting for a good sale event

It’s a great machine!

Keep an eye open for sales, you will not be disappointed.

First thing I did with mine was strip it down to check out the seals and gaskets (silicon rubber… :+1: ) to make sure it would be OK with 95% ethanol. No problemo

Cons: :pinching_hand:

  • it’s a little loud
  • minimum of 2 cups liquid

Cheers

Hey Moka, thanks !!
Hey Paps, Gpaw,
Gpaw is dead on in his review!! I could not have said it any better.
I got this a while back, as I had many folks asking if I knew anything about it.
I really love it. I know of 6 folks that got them, 1 had an issue, and customer service made it right for them.
One friend, only makes gummies with his.
I can 2 ounces of matter, and 8 sticks/2 lb’s butter, at a whack. Perfect size for us.
It has some quirks, loud when the grinder spins, filter bag a is a touch small. I hang mine in a jelly strainer stand, with clips, so I can slide the draining bag while in the stand, over the butter stick molds.
I also saw they now offer a neat looking filter device that fits mason jars, I’m going get soon.
All I did was to weight out 15 grams of decarb’ed sugar trim, added 2/3’rds cup of coconut oil, set machine on 1 hour oil setting @ 135F . Once it beeped, I filtered that into pint mason, added honey, not sure how much, as I only was looking at filling it to have head space in the jar, to whip it, with the Mueller hand blender. EDIT I had set the mason in a small pot with some water about half way up the mason, as the water heated up, once it got to 85F, I started to whip it. * EDIT over.
Maybe 3 minutes it was completely whipped, even today no sign of separation.
It has a great nutty canna flavor…and a teaspoon on some zucchini bread, has me, very medicated, hell my ears are ringing.
It was Sweet Surrender on my scooter ride to the CSA, back through the mountains, the twisty roads, it was just a sublime ride!! Makes my soul happy.
However the fooking gas prices, I paid $5.40 for real gas, $12.40 to fill it up!!!

The early amnesia star buds are now dried enough for their glass nap.
I filled a half gallon and quart mason jars, but did not weight it.
I keep the fresh filled jars in the stash jail, where I keep the pint jars we partake from daily I then refill from freezer stored seal a meal pouches. I yank some buds, reseal, back in to storage.
Since I’m in there (stash jail) for head candy a few times a day, I do not forget the fresh buds, and check, and work them during the first few days.
I’ve come to hate my buds if overly dried out in the jars, and will turn them to edibles in a heat beat if to dry. I like moisture in my bud, I always preferred to setting a few buds out the night before on my rolling tray, over bone dry in a jar.
Silly way for most joint lovers, I get it, but after so many decades of use, you get to know what you like and want for yourself.

Take care!!

I’m the same way bone dry sucks definitely like a bit of moisture in my buds .

Where does the time go?
WOW, what a couple of weeks, it’s been for us. Nothing bad at all.
Had to do some trim jail time, the aqua tray, F&D, no top down watering/feeding at all all through their flower cycle, maybe a couple of added veg weeks at first.
ZERO GNATS!!! The entire flowering run!!
But I had scoped them first on the July 8th, and the one was very ready, and the other 3 needed time.
Checked them a couple of weeks later, culled the other 3.
I did find a few buds had some whispers of mold starting in the deep thick parts.
Once I see any mold, I trim to cut sugar leaf, and to twist the buds from the stalk, without removing them, allowing them to hang away from the stalk, for air flow, during drying time.
I had to, get a grip of that, and started to go back through the air handling system to see, what is not right.
It turned out that the speed controller to my Vortex, was either bumped, or I just did not reset it properly when I swapped the filter out, a month or so back.
Now that the bud is trimmed, dried, snipped and separated, packed away into labeled jars, are pretty good.
Plant #1 yielded 120 g’s of bud, 75 g’ of sugar trim.
Plant #2 yielded 101 g’s bud, 65 g’s sugar trim.
Plant #3 yielded 140 g’s of bud, 85 g’s sugar trim.
Plant #4 yielded 140 g’s of bug, 80 g’s sugar trim.
Mold and what I tossed was about 10 g’s or so.
I’ll not ignore the humidity scale again, on the ancient weather station, hanging in that area again.

A 750 GLA LED, Master Blend Tomato fertilizer @ 12 g’s to 5 gallons dehuey water, then 7 g’s Epsom, 12 g’s Calcium Nitrate = 550-600 PPM’s for veg.
For bloom, same mix, but I add 4 TBLS, MorBloom, for flowering and PH down.
I do throw some ReCharge in once in a while. A touch of molasses. Been using Grandma’s, due to not being able to get Briar Rabbit. I do NOT care for unsulphered, I’ll always go with the Briar Rabbit from now on. In fact, I’ll get a case, to last me forever.
The small sample, we tried is sticky, smelly, potent!! This now puts to bed, the Amnesia Star, and Hypro Widow beans. A huge windfall from 60 euros of beans, Thank You Flower Power Seed Bank!!
Getting ready to flower some of the Hyp3rids, SAWA` products!! So excited!!

For what it’s worth, Recharge has molasses in it.

Hey ReikoX, I sure hope the molasses in ReCharge has Sulphur, LOL!

Today, I went to visit the Tub’s grow area. She is ready to be ravaged.
These LED’s from GrowLightAustralia, are the most amazing LED I’ve run ever.
The plants are sticky, stinky, very dense bud, very heavy branches.

This is the end of my clones and seeds from the Hypro Widow and Amnesia Star project.
I paid 30 euros, for each packet, and got freebies on top, about $60.00 and I’ll have almost 2 pounds of bud packed away, along with almost as much sugar trim for edibles, and tincture.
Never emptied either resy, just added to. Finished with Tomato food/Morbloom.
Just silly simple.

Last pic is both plants prepped to dry. In 4-5 days snip buds from stalk, and start the cure.
