20 days from sprout. I removed my lst tie downs about an hour after I tied them, They seem pretty compact compared to the spindly sativa monsters from my last grow. If these are 60 day from seed to harvest type autos they should start showing sex before too long as I’m entering week 3 of growth

Here they are at day 25 from sprout, No sign of sex yet but I’m sure they will show soon. In the last five days they have doubled in height.

Why did you remove them? I keep mine on for the most of my grow. Sometimes removing at the branch just to reattach it farther up to keep the branch growing horizontal.
That is the main stalk. I took it off and reatached it 4 times and spread the branches out. this is the top of the plant. She’s not even a foot tall. Had her in veg for 25 days. Today is day 3 of flower.
I can remove this post if you want. Dont want to step on you thread.
I never grown a sativa but your right Indicas are stocky plants.
Your plants do look verry nice tho. Keep up the good work.

I removed the tie downs because the main stalk of these were so thick already that it seemed like they would snap and I guess I was a bit out of my comfort zone, Like I said it was my first go at it.

Oh yeah the snapping will happen if your not careful. Its best to start them as early as you can. One of my plants I couldn’t get it to go the way I wanted. I slowly bent her as she grew. You want to do it before you water because there not so ridged then.

Are you using pipe cleaners to tie down? I like that! Growing for me was usually outdoors and the most I would do is top a plant and let it bush out.

Yeah. Alot easier to work with. As the plant gets bigger I like to remove them and put them back on to keep the branches growing the way I want them to.

Seems a hell of a lot easier than the old roll of twine I was using, may have to get myself some of them, I already have a small shopping list of things I need to get before the next run

I got mine at the dollar store. I’m sure you can get more cheaper on Amazon but I try not to shop there if I dont have too.

Day 30 from sprout, Since they hadn’t shown any signs of sex yet I decided to experiment with these plants. The front one got topped yesterday while the back right got my first go at a fim cut and the back left was pruned of a few bigger fan leaves that were blocking lower branches.

I still have my first grow tent my wife bought me 24-24-5-ft,I upgraded to 32-32-6ft the wife bought me that as well lol she got sick of me growing plants around the house so she bought me a grow tent

I would love to get a bigger tent going but I have to have this in my bedroom which is small enough as is, I can’t have it setup anywhere else in my trailer because my cats are crazy and will try to climb it or use it as a damn scratching post.
