I am so excited to see how well this works…so far, I am LOVING it.

In all honesty, I thought it was going to be a big rigmarole, but, ironically, since all i do is feed it daily, it’s the easiest one of them all. Don’t have to guess what day I am on, nutes or water…

Definitely awesome!

I am seriously considering this type of container.

The transparency would be good, but will it cause issues for the roots?

roots will photosynthesize if exposed to light

better to let the leafs do it :slight_smile:

what you lookiing to see? if it water level put a sight glass on the outside pail

worked for an Orchid grower in Miami

started working in their greenhouses and shade houses for

and awhile I worked in their lab. learn lots and lots great things by

getting to work with leaders in the Orchid Business .

I got into working with shaded foliage plants for the

interior landscaping and Florist trade in metropolitan New York, CT, NJ and PA

was a plant broker for a time out of Fla

but there is a lot more money in keys of white powder

I ran a test this summer with different 5 gal buckets. Ace was a white bucket and had green alge growing on the inside of bucket and the outer edge of soil. Dark colors did just fine.

I do half and half because Vermiculite holds more water also buffer a bit more

and it cuts the roots as it glass which helps to give you a dense root mat

fine roots feed your plants fat roots hold it

that why I use it in soil-less

Ghost orchid native to FL doesnt have any leaves to perform photosynthesis.

My old friend has an 1100 orchid greenhouse ive been taking care of. Strange plants.
