Deer and rabbits are relentless where I’m at, too, so I started making cages (for each and every plant) out of 3 foot tall welded wire fencing.
(Animals seem to lose interest after they grow to a certain height).
Kind of a lot of money and labor to invest up front, but they save plants, they’re reusable, and birds like to land on ‘em, and drop off personalized packages of guano throughout the season.

I was going to use this weekend to play catch up on getting seeds out.
But, I need to leave for a few weeks.
My army buddy just lost his father. So he’s flying me out to house sit for him so he can go to the funeral.
I likely won’t have reception for the duration

I finally get home this weekend after 3 weeks away.
I ended up getting some of me seeds back that i lost before the fire. Interesting story, but not for sharing yet.
I found a pack that I haven’t seen out on the forums before - doc D’s Granola Antitlan.
Appearently, its Guatemalan from a safari done by doc, B, and Stray. Man, it’d be real cool to go on a safari with them.
There’s also some of my early work, up through Napa 2018.
Most amazingly, a couple packs from BOEL.

My plants are starting to show sex.
I found males in:
Goji F2 (red stem) but culled because of reports of herm, so I want to evaluate the females before I use a male F2 to breed.

TK x Lemon Thai.
The male TK x Lemon Thai really called out to me, so I did a lot of research to decide if the genetics are something I want to use.
After being wowed by the male TK x Lemon Thai, I did a lot of digging on forums and some networking last night.
Things I was told last night vibed with what I was told last year by a military guy in Lake County, which is that this all goes back to Oliver North. North realized that the Black Ops missions weren’t being funded by Congress so he had to use drugs and civil asset forfeiture to fund these Ops. BOEL, Pranksters, and other circles were an extended arm of this scheme to make and sell drugs to fund black ops (why do you think the military gave out those crystals of LSD to Kesey and others)
Triangle Kush is “Secret Sauce” and is the original. Paki brought back in 80’s by a military guy, crossed to Lemon Thai from Hawaii (BOEL/military).
Master Kush is Hindu x Hindu.
NL2 is NL x Hindu.
NL is Kabul x Kandahar (military).
NL5 is Kabul x Kandahar x Hawaiian Sativa.
Hawaiian Sativa is strongly Thai.
NL1 is Kabul x Kandahar x Ghani.
And then theres SuperSkunk, which is an Afghan/Ghani Bx or IX.
Now, these are what have created all the rave strains in the 80s and 90s like PK, SD, Chem, Bubba Kush, OGKush.
Bubba ‘seems’ to be NL2 x NL1 and maybe something else. But the bud structure where the bracts curl upward and inward can be seen in Hindu/Master Kush.
Im thinking Chems and Diesels come from TK x SuperSkunk.
So, the origins come from military ops. Then these branch out into outlaw ops in OR, CA, AZ, FL, NY, and even A’Dam.
I was surprised to have to change my mind about the Florida story, but the origins of what they used go back further and, again, are tied to military - though Im not sure if they just didnt know, or if they knew well enough to shut the fuck up about that fact.
Of course, each time when I say ‘military’ Im not talking about conventional uniformed military.

Nope, just had an incredible tap root that id never seen before. It looked like an unformed carrot - just crazy thick with no axial branching, and craaazy long.
Its not sexed because its dwarfed from being in a solo cup for too long. But, if its a male i just may have to include it in breeding along with the TK x Lemon Thai

Two of my favorites, blueberry and Ducksfoot, although I haven’t heard of African Blueberry, is this by chance an Afropips line? And the Ducksfoot 80’s vintage, anything you can share about them?
I was fortunate to get some Ducksfoot in the early 2000’s and regret not working with it better. Some unique terpenes in those genetics, and a wonderful effect. Lip smacking taste! Glad to hear you got some no of your seeds back. Much love
