My Seed Collection.... I have a problem

My problem is that now that I’ve created a few beans, the testing of those comes before opening any more packs. And I plan on continuing to make beans.

You end up getting an accidental pollination and end up with a bunch of new gear unexpected :v:

I don’t have money to play that much :joy:
I have about 120 varieties in my seed collection and they are basically all bag seed or breeding adventures. I have a pack of Garlic Breath by Thug Pug and a pack of Chocolatina from Exotic from birthday money :money_mouth_face:
But I have had these seeds for years and trying to sprout them now and having so much difficulty, I don’t see “Collections” the same anymore, yeah guys have stuff. But is it still viable, and if so can they make them sprout…
Hahaha :v:

That is my issue. Do I pop the breeder pack I payed for before it won’t sprout or do I test the last crosses to see what’s inside…
But what if I want to use one of the males from the breeders packs and I am not ready with a proper female yet because I haven’t tested everything to move forward :joy::v:

The way I have read we can store seeds with good success up to 10 years in a good environment. But above that you need to spend a little more money on your equipment. Part of me says the strains will be better 10 years down the road and I won’t need to run seeds I saved that long. But here we all are hunting for old original gear so keep a good collection lol…

The main reason I see for people looking for older seeds is the current stuff is all pretty similar in the type of high. People are trying to break the bottleneck that had occurred. My .02

That would be funny if they had an episode on Hoarders where the guy has his house full of seeds :joy:
He has bins and fridges everywhere. Ammo cans from Nam, his whole yard outside is plants everywhere. They are like “Look Jim, I know you hold all these seeds near and dear to your heart, but they are starting to effect your health, you gotta learn to let em go!..” He freaks out, “No screw that! You can toss all the Barney’s Farm and anything from Cookies or Berner, but stay away from the good shit! Here, I will even toss the Ethos myself, but anything other than that and we are going to have problems!!!”:rofl::rofl::rofl::v:

These seed hoarders you speak of, well i like to think they hoard all kinds of seeds…different types of trees, herbs, flowers, i mean basically everything. Then i look at them as a smaller scale depository. Or like that seed bank in the ice. With basically every type of seed. This would be most epic of a venture if someone was uber rich

You go to their place “So anyways, I was thinking about starting a garden…”

They go “What do you need? I got squash, cucumber, tomato, Pre 98 Bubba, corn, peas, Hashplant, Master Kush, lettuce, onions, Skunk #1, beans, carrots, radish, rosemary, Platinum OG, Critical, Purple Punch, plums, apples, Zkittles, Cherries, grapes, Gelato, Bogglegum, blueberries, raspberries, pumpkins, White Widow, Alaskan Thunder Fuck…”:v:

I’ve been meaning to do a bit of organizing all the seeds I have. Not all fit, I need to start popping seeds soon to make room.

At least I ran about 30% of them…100% is the goal.

There looks to be some absolute thunder everywhere in that collection @InTheWoods. It’s very admirable to me.

I get high with a little help from my friends!

Very thankful. :sunglasses: :vulcan_salute:

I have much more Cultivator Choice haze/sk1 OP seeds than I originally remember shucking. I will start making flips to hand out.

I think this is a direct result of governmental bullshit foisted on us for 100 years. From “forbidden—DANGEROUS” to we all got it and are sharing as fast as we can.

Regardless of the FACT that none of us is going to be able to grow all of this. Believe me, I am as guilty of that as anyone reading this. And that only speaks to all the different varieties I have collected. Not counting the seeds I grew from those strains.

I am glad there isn’t a law. hehee

This also is what keeps seed prices high. Perceived scarcity

Of both legal and illegal seeds!

I agree with ‘perceived’ scarcity. I have found the exact strain I smoked at 17 and I am now over 70. I also managed to buy from a seed retailer “Cali-O” which is probably older than most reading this.
