Outa Looking great. Sounds like a bunch of beans are coming!!
Eventually for sure @Emeraldgreen that’s just the regular flower tent controls. I had to flower them out to verify they weren’t all herms before seeds happened. That tent is going now however wk 2 flower, so seeds are on the horizon. I am loving just clones and flip!
Clones are great for consistency. They are super easy once you get a system
Outa
Legit. I’m going to keep these 4 ladies around for awhile as I sift thru the next generation!
Interesting, he’s in the living room under 15 hours of actual light, wild pre-flowerijpng. I wasn’t going to keep a male from the Soma group but decided to anyway.
Hahaha, he legit still in the cloner!
In other news, apparently my new policy of “Hey auto, live or die! I care not!!” Is working literally threw them in the hempy at time of sprout, watered a week later then went hempy appropriate feeding (for age etc). I think I’m enjoying them better this way. If they die, they die. Expensive scratcher tickets…I’m testing on the copious amount of “freebies” from the Meph orders (hahaha, nothing ever free). I was so disinterested in their survival that they’re names and strains i know not.
Auto 1, 2 (3 didn’t make it rip) and 4 Left side of tent
The Right side plants (3) are Greenpoint Seeds photo fems: Gorilla Punch, Purple Alien, Periwinkle Pie
Other is a Dutch Passion: Charlotte’s Angel (I think second from front, R side).
The 3 of 4 freebies I planted in the micro water cups are crushing it. Onward to transplant into the McDonalds Large cups baby - ohhhh yeah, we crusing
But seriously, today is day 15 so it stands to reason it might be a good method going forward. If they’re this picky (growing in hempy style, specifically because of the time to reach the bottom resevoir) the added effort in transplanting may/may not be worth it, when I can just eat more yogurt (the containers I prefer and just recklessly abandon them.
Decisions, decisions. Today is transplant day though lol.
What a weirdo Soma # two is - and just this one! LOL
Others are doing fine, we’re in week 6 now.
I’m over the pollen. Seed tent started week 4 today and I’m thinking of doing one more pollen swoosh tonight then dumping the males in the morning. I was going to keep a male clone but then decided I’ve moved on from this one.
That bud looks fasciated
It is I believe, pretty neat but odd
”beaners…beaners…beaners" I forgot how hilarious that scene was.
These ladies are chonky beaners in the making
Looks great!! Congratulations on your successful pollination. Outa
Thanks @Emeraldgreen can’t wait till it’s over
Well, I had a great laugh last night when I went to water my main flower tent. Soma Lavender week 7 flower.
Mazeltov! We have two fully seeded Soma Lavender tents!!
And, we now have Fruity Pebbles OG x Soma Lavender
cross @TopShelfTrees1 . Interesting, but I imagined that this massive pollination would happen.
Week 5 was when the boys started dropping pollen, and don’t these seeds look lovely.
Howling with laughter, still this morning
Fpog (6 small plants at front L)
So what’s your cross’s name? Sounds like a happy accident to me
Congratulations on your seed increase. You’ll definitely have a ton to pop and trade
Oh good grief, if I never buy another seed I’ll still have excess @Emeraldgreen
Not sure @unomas definitely a happy accident as I love FP, and from what I’m seeing, smelling from the Soma I’m not upset about it.
Now, the 2 months of cleaning seeds…haha
plenty to trade than!! That won’t reduce the amount just change the flavor
Dry the snot out of it and crumbled between your hands.
Exactly the plan then into mct oil they’ll go (the weed, not the seeds )
I know hempseed is very nutritious, but I wonder if it’d be worthwhile to use for oil. I’m sure the plant will always be better.
Plants look great friend! Glad to see you around again!
Heya @Rhino_buddy ! Glad to be back, hope you’ve been well!! Perhaps lower THC value compared to a non-seeded plant but, from the research that I’ve seen (not super extensive, I’m just not that concerned about it really) I haven’t noticed a lot saying much substantial differences. Have you tried it before (or anyone who has), id be grateful for that info and experience! If it’s a total waste of time, then I’m down to just dump them, but if there’s some value, maybe…
Differences to be sure, but major depredation and loss? Maybe, guess I’ll see and report back, I am curious.
I think back to the 70’s weed everyone had and smoked that was seeded, and expect something of that value. Definitely no 28% THC , maybe 15 (if I’m fortunate).
Definitely not as potent as non-seeded for sure but sooooo shiney
I have read on some forum that the seeded buds have more surface area for trichomes production…
I know lot of people who press those or use it to extract bubble Hash etc.,.
