My Water Culture

ahh yes, I checked and the big bud just started producing a few pollen sacks. Usually it produces a few right at the end stages of flowering, but there are no seeds. Once in a while though, I find a seed! One seed in the entire crop…but my question is… how does it find the time to reach completion? I mean how can the seed mature in such a short period of time? Perhaps the secret is the seed matures quickly in the “two weeks” it has left.

lol on a side note, the blueberry plants outside are doing great! PH is getting into the zone after a couple handfuls of sulfur dust. Don’t forget… sulfur creates sulfuric acid and lowers the ph by leaching calcium.

I got some interesting photos of random buds on the meat breath plants. They are still bulking up, so I’m excited to see the production. And then the hash production as well! OOOO and beta testing!!! I bet my beta testers ears are perking up now. Meaty human thumb for size reference.

One of the meat breath plants flopped over today, so I had to resurrect it. The thing is heavy! So I tied three more supports in there. Even though they are just golf ball sized nuggets, they add up to some serious weight when wet. I am going to have to go down there tomorrow and measure the EC because I fell asleep and I think the plant drank all the water. One of the plants did, I mean… it looked a little dry when I went in there to check. Been feeling kind of tired like I need to get in a solid 12 hour sleep. Aaaaanyways, I’ll take a photo with a golf ball in there tomorrow. The meat breath buds are kind of different!

Now, that’s what I call a good sleep. I should break out the tincture and really have a power nap lol! Got those snaps with the golf ball! Now the ball smells like Rhubarb, I think. Like you just cracked open a fresh rhubarb stalk and had a good sniff or something. These little ball sized nuggets are all over the plant, making it heavy.

ok and I have a photo of the ball next to a big bud plant. You can see some unopened pollen sacks! They never open! Crazy growth!

The big bud plants are on the final chapter, and I should be harvesting soon! Still unknown on the meat breath. People would look up the bloom length, but I always do the trichome check using a microscope.

You may notice the glisten from the meat breath. There is not much sparkling going on with the big bud plants, right? Too bad I already know the big bud plants kick ass. The human eye would be fooled and thus… the mind as well. Mind you, the buds from the big bud taste like fruit punch. So… Soon…we shall see what MB looks like under the scope. JOYGASM

heh heh I told my friend that I get 4 to one yield from the big bud he says “wait…so for every pound you grow you get a quarter pound of hash?” me: “Yep!” Also…every kilo I grow is 250 grams of hash

lol don’t even know what is on that ball I think it’s faded orange marker.

There’s some good 'ol fashioned root porn, right there. Kind of gets you excited! It was all I could do to pose that plant in the air…it’s so fucking heavy!!!

nuts in a strange twist that ball has my grandmother’s name written on it in faded marker. She’s been dead for over 20 years!

haircut wouldn’t hurt her…lol

yarrrrr another meat breath plant flopped over. I underestimated the weight of those plants! Can’t wait till harvest day, I’m excited for the experimenting that’s coming.

more photos! You can see some of the leaves on an up-close. These are the descendants of the meat breath stick that I cleaned the mites, thrips and aphids off of. You can see - they are still spidermite, aphid and thrip free. Also, the king tut plant which is a descendant of the original super-mite infested plants from years ago! The lack of parasites on the plant is dependent on the protocols in place to eliminate them and keep them out. As a human, I have to follow the protocols or else it all falls apart heh heh.

A Shiny Dollar if you can spot a parasite!

Those things are beasts, really impressive roots! The big bud looks tasty, where’s it from?

Thanks! Big bud is from AMS which advertises on this site. They don’t pay me to say this, but their customer service…and their promise to deliver - definitely top notch. Sent me double the seeds after the first batch failed but then both arrived anyways! Smells and tastes like fruit salad, I selected this one plant from a batch of 20 seedlings. One of the females tasted like sawdust lol the perils of sexual reproduction.

Sweet deal. My friends and I used to have a blueberry x big bud back in the day that looked similar. Huge with a great fruity taste. It’s a strain alot of people seem to sleep on.

big bud is my 23 to one or 4 to one dried. So if you smoked 4 grams of bud that’s equal to a single gram of hash. Might make someone sleepy! I live off the shit though. hah hah I wouldn’t rip an entire gram in a session that’s lunacy.
Cop: you say you smoked a tiny chunk, but I say that would knock me out!
Me: I agree, it has a different effect on everyone.

ok! shit happens! I am also building up some more ice for the next hash run. Fun!

I propped the plants up and retied some of the strings. Ungainly fuckers! They are all yellowing and purpling and whatnot. Going to be a funktastic harvest…again! Once all this pre-cruising shit is over, I’ll be in coma mode growing mega crops of hash producing goodness. It took me 7 years to finish this mode last time, what I call pre-cruising shit. I’ve lost track of time but I must be half way there by now. Got big bud on lockdown, and I’m seeking number two. For now, this is the end of the road once I complete the meat breath test. I will have found my second in command. Please… let the second in command be almost as good as the big bud. At least now, I can continue the search without danger of infestation.

cracked out the microscope to get a good view of the workings of the meat breath. Got some good captures! It’s not like the human eye, of course…your eye can see a much larger field. I don’t have a good camera for taking the photos, instead I blew 1000$ on the phase contrast unit.
