Dusting off my copy of visual studio. Going to do some bug fixes for that module I made in space engineers. Just a little c# with triggers built into the game. It really enhances my workflow as a space engineer by sorting all the inventories as I add items to storage. LOL that’s what I use my programming skills for nowadays, nothing important. Although… I did spend 3 days stepping through the code in this one game to show the programmers that there was a buffer overflow at the 20th iteration. It’s all in good fun! Bring on the git and gdb! Lets dump some stacks!!! hah hah just had to get that stream of gibberish in.
Things are on the up and up, I’m going to test the EC of the big bud and king tut today. See how things are doing with the one I didn’t add fertilizer to.
I’ve been digging around in the hydro supplies closet, and I might have enough to make a new system! hooooray! Hopefully I can get those next big buds planted…ooo I can feel the excitement! I’ll stack all the treasures in the veg room, see how it looks in terms of growing those next 4 pathogen clones. But… The next batch of clones are rooting already I can see the root nodes, so I have 10 big bud clones ready to go soon! That’s 2 more batches… noice! lol I just need some buckets and pumps to go with that. rummages around in the pile for goodies
Thumbs up! Testing positive for growth. The tip burn hasn’t advanced probably pk abuse, I mean I did crank them crazydose with that shit.
This is the big bud. I carved a sample from the lower buds, they make excellent research fodder. Observations show they are the same as the upper buds, just not as much weight in each cluster. So I dissect the buds that will never amount to anything in my estimation.
I had to go and take another veg photo, damned thing was out of focus. I think that camera I have is starting to act strange!
what is an average yield you get for a grow and what lights are you using?
mmm good questions! I am using 1000watt hps lights for bloom 275 watts led for veg. As for the yield, I would get a gram per watt on my dialed plants. I think I got 700 grams on a big bud harvest. Once I settle into my cycle, we’ll really be able to tell, but so far if I get 700 grams I’m happy. Once I’ve fully explored the ups and downs of the 2 remaining plants I can go for ultimate production. Dial it in, and see if I can hit a gram per watt again. I am really hoping meat breath and big bud will be the two plants I grow! I could try others in the future, I’m always looking to improve on genetics.
Back in the day I’d be pulling 125 grams of hash per light, that’s 375 fat grams of hash per round mmmmm… Realistically, that’s my sole focus, hash production, and the buds are secondary.
more goodness! You know that one huge meat breath plant is pumping out some impressive colas for a meat breath!
I hope these new ones I am generating turn out huge They are looking radical so far.
I found some more air hoses under a piece of paper. Crazy world! I think I’ve used up all hydroponic supplies that are laying around now. Could surprise myself yet! I think I’m using the entire setup now every bucket and hose and pump, wow I never thought I’d be back to max productivity.
hmm fuck, I got one photo that was in focus!
The camera has this vibration thing in it when you open the lens cover it does a quick vibration. Well lately it’s been vibrating randomly, so sometimes I take a photo and it gets all jiggy. I think there might be some dust or other debris in the sensor. Going to have to get serious with the compressed air.
Beautiful plant you got there @JoeCrowe ! Love the colors of her
Reminds me of one of the TGA : Galactic jack I grew many years ago!
Who did you get the Big Bud from originally? I had gotten them from Nirvana back in the day. They were massive like trees. Im planning on getting some more Big Bud seeds in the near future.
Thanks! It’s gonna get pretty purple in there over the next 2 weeks! Everyone is into the purps!
I ordered them from AMS, they advertise on here. I’m not paid by them to say this or anything but it’s a real life story. I ordered them with much difficulty had to pay in euros, but that was taken care of despite the paperwork problem at the bank. Customer service linked my outerspace payment without the serial number to the purchase I was making. If they were turds they would have claimed to not have got the payment cause there was nothing I could do. In the end I also paid them for guaranteed delivery, which was extra. I was sitting twiddling my thumbs for 30 days they sent me a message “how are the plants growing?” I said shit I never got the seeds. So they sent another pack, and then both packs arrived at the same time. It was nuts they just said have fun growing those 2 packs! It was worth it in the end I got to select my own mother plant that tastes like fruit, and produces lots of hash.
check this out! I was going to set up those 4 buckets and plant some plants. I got over where they were and noticed there was some kind of filth on the water system. I got a damp cloth and wiped it off. Then I looked at it. It was some kind of biofilm? Like a fungal colony or something! So I got some hot water and a rag plus some disinfectant and went to town.
After I got it cleaned up, I realized the thing had been there as long as I had been in the lab. I assumed it was oxides on the water tank. Cray-cray, it was on there since the previous people had abandoned the lab after the flood. I mean, the building that houses the lab, that is. Wow after so many floods and shit… it’s getting fixed up? what’s next? lol! I’ll probably fix up the vapor barrier next.
I took an image of just the water system, the hose that waters in the lab garden comes from the bottom of that blue tank. If you look back in the thread I’m sure there’s an image where you can see the crust on there.
yah if anyone was wondering why the bottom row of drywall is off and the vapor barrier is in tatters… there had been a series of natural disasters. After I had personally experienced the disaster in 2017 which wiped out my crops, and cost me everything, I did the well thing. The well works great! It keeps the floods out when they happen which is once a decade. It was easy to grow complacent about the disasters when I just started up. It was something I had heard happened to someone else. Of course until I had experienced it myself, there was no way I could “solve” the problem I had never seen. After being through a couple more disasters and not taking any damage because of the new well system, I think it might be time…to fix it up.
Good news is I’m almost there. In a little bit, I’ll sock those pathogen clones in there and let 'em rip. I thought for sure something would happen to them, but once they got roots, it was like the pathogen damage hadn’t happened. Guess the colony died off after I blocked the light and scrubbed off their icky algae farm. I’m going to toss the male clone and scrub that thing up. It’ll be ready for the next round of clones coming right up!!! exclamation mark!1
hah hah I’m always planning for the next step. Or several steps in the future lol, envision it then fucking do it. Nobody else is going to appear and scrub them buckets. I moved the franken plant off to the side, but I should toss the whole thing in the compost bin. I wonder what would happen if I put it in bloom?
