seedlings are loving the new dose, I probably should have started them out like this. It’s EC 1.5, I’ll keep that in mind going forward, they can mostly take a dose like that. mostly.
getting light burned over here on the meat banger. And the big bud. Goddamned traffic jam here with all the plants.
Probably one more day left. I’m gonna take some samples and check! Notice how the meat breath are already as tall as the big bud? Those big buds don’t grow as fast.
I think alfalfa meal is my favorite due to the fact it’s fermented and breaks down fast. The little citrus will recover from having it’s roots grow out of the pot and several centimeters more All it takes is a little help from the fungus - you can see it growing. The fungus colony, that is. Here’s the strange part, despite the demonstrations, in the past “someone” mixed a bunch of alfalfa meal into the soil and killed the seedlings. The soil was like this wet sponge, a definite no-no. In the long run that cost a dozen tomato plants.
veg-n-bloom! I am going to do some microscope work today on them. I think they are coming down tomorrow.
haven’t heard from the ferrets, which is odd. Gonna give 'em another call, maybe they still have weed left over from the last harvest
Seedlings are looking buff! They would be doing better if they were directly under the light, but… After this harvest I can probably shove em under that thing.
I am going to stop the upward growth of the meat breath in the back there. Don’t want more light burn! We’ll see how successful I am at it in later months
ok! I am on the next phase of the flavor test. If you harvest them early - the flavor isn’t good. I got some living soilers I harvested early for that test. It’s gross! tastes green, even though it doesn’t really smell green, there’s not much smell as it is.
oh, they were big bud living soilers. Clones of plants I already grew out, so I’m not screwing with my own mind using plants that have a different DNA.

Looking good as always my bro!!
Hey, thanks!
My dad says I’ll be murdered and burned as a witch for showing off the organics lol! My grapefruit tree is growing new branches and leaves! The season has turned so now I have to extract, using a 600cfm fan or else it gets hot and steamy! Jungle time!
Nah, there are lots of organic guys here.
yah I know organic growing is the latest rage, and a good thing too. Industrial farming has taken a huge toll on the earth. Here’s the downside though. Take it how you will.
In early days my parents were the ultimate old school organic farmers. They even had all the old school organic farming myths locked in. Oldies but goodies, like hydroponic chemical grown is tasteless! Organic is the shizzle for flavor! That lasted until I plopped two tomatoes on the table, one water culture and one organic. Even though I told them not to, they loved to spread the horse shit. Like some kind of turd was what the garden needed. They are STILL having problems accepting modern organic methods. OK so like, I’m in the super best friends, which grows weed organically. They even bat around the word “science” as if they know what it means. Then spout radical claims I know aren’t true. They perform south american fertility rituals to help grow the weed.
Pardon me, but I don’t want to have anything to do with shit like that. Don’t be floating bullshit. Especially when it’s tying into your “special” method of dancing in the moonlight to get productivity up. Excuse me I don’t want to be linked to ideas like that. I know, though, it’s a hurtful stereotype. After all I don’t personally believe in anything, but here I am organic farming out there to save the diversity of mother earth. OK, then I go overboard. Look I take the waste product from my water culture and compost it into organic materials for helping mother earth. FUCKING HERETIC! BURN!
roooooooots! There are several with roots, I think they are all actually rooted. Meat banger and big bud! They are eventually going to do a rotation. nice!
dialed back the canopy a bit. These things are definitely going to be large! Hopefully I can stave off the light burn.
