My Water Culture

That’s Crazy Big @JoeCrowe! How long did you veg that one? When I veg only 30 days they are only half that. That’s great man. As soon as I get some money coming in I’m going to attempt to copy your nute regiment. For sure.
How is your sexing project going? How what’s the youngest you are able to determine sex? Are they in flower when you can tell?

I can determine with 100% accuracy the sex of the seedling at the 5th-7th node. I am still going though, I could learn something else as well

oh crud I forgot. I bet those plants vegged for 4 months lol! I’d really have to go back in time and check for sure, but they are old ass plants.

Ha! I guess I don’t feel that incompetent lol.

here’s a closer look at the lady-ballz. The plants are already decomposing in the compost bin. Prepping the area for more meat breath  ring ring…hey got any meat breath?

That’s nuts. Is the airstone inside or still in the bucket?

That dark spot is an airline T embedded in the root ball where the air bubbles out from.
lol breaking down my troubleshooting process in your thread I hope it helps people. Sometimes I wonder if they just think I’m a lunatic, but I use that process for everything from growing weed to computer programming.

Nope. It makes sense to me. It has to have been that Micro. He was corresponding with me for a while though PM and I was walking him through the basics. So there wasn’t much to go by. He even said he had stopped using it after a few times because it looked like it was doing more harm then good. I appreciate you taking the time :+1:

You are more than welcome! Once you finish picking apart my mind and discovering all my secrets, you’ll be gunning for my job  heh heh just kidding. No, but you are really picking at my mind, I love it.

I went over to wonder woman’s place and gave her a sack of weed for doing the trim with me. Then I got chatting with batman and wonder woman about the meat breath clone I got. I said it was suggested the clone I got might be from some kind of super meat breath plant that is clone only. Wonder woman said she’s been to the store where they sell meat breath and mine slayed it. So they agreed there might be something to that idea, that perhaps it’s an excellent phenotype that’s been cloned and passed around.

everything is ready to be set back up! yay!

you can clearly see with the human eye, now. I just have to cut down the male and wait a few more days to see if the female is a hermie or not.

Those photos were done very well. Looks nice.
It sounds like you got a winner for sure. Are you taking the Big Bud out of rotation?

naw just slowing down the rotation on her. I am producing too much hash and not enough buds. lol that sounds ridiculous to say…and read. There is already a crop of big bud planted in 4 buckets waiting for their turn to bloom, and I’m just finishing off the last batch of blooming big buds. I definitely don’t need yet another bloom of them… tragically the freezer is clogged up with hash material. Gonna have to do something about it  like make hash.
As for the FLC BX1, it’s going to enter the rotation on an experimental basis once the sex test is confirmed no hermie. Once the plant enters beta test mode I grow and bloom a single plant. I give some buds to my beta testers and they report back on if it’s any good. Then I take it and make hash and see what the yield is. If the plant in question defeats one of the plants in my current rotation, then it takes it’s place in rotation and the plant goes in the trash.
Many are picked, few are chosen.

If you find herms or anything, from a normal environment, please don’t hesitate to let me know ^^

I haven’t found anything, save for a couple late-flower nanners on two girls that got basically ice-water feedings. All while other plants were herming around. If these have a tendency to herm, I’ll just stop the work right now and move on  but I think they’re good. Either way, lemme know what you find, I try and keep up in here regardless…

Nice work as usual! :+1:

Hey thanks! I’m at day 11 and there are… theoretically 4 days left in the test before I call it a female. I might even give it a couple days extra. Then I’ll grow out the clone which is recovered from starving out. If it makes it to completion then I know for certain it’s a female. There is no certainty about the time frame for male expression of the flowers on the hermie, so that’s why I’m taking that approach even though it seems odd. The original seedling will bite the dust in the compost pile. Looking at a couple of months before this leg of the journey is complete! Ahhh the glory of tedious research! But the value of knowing if there’s lurking hermies in the seed pile? priceless.
hah hah I live for it.

fuck me, I found a meat breath seed. It even passed the diamond test! wow! I should go put it in the fridge. One single seed. I’ll weigh the harvest tomorrow, it should be awesome.

Yeah, I’ve gotten to a point where I only do the full res change when I’m changing its nutrient dose. I’m on week 6 of flower with a 7 week veg and have changed the reseviors maybe 8 times the whole grow, masterblend has a really stable ph in solution.

You should sell the seed. The clones go for enough.
I can’t wait to see what you pulled

I love ph buffering systems in nutrients. I don’t buy any other kind! When I see people chasing the ph, it’s always kind of disturbing to me. The knowledge about it is infectious though, in a good way!!!
