My Water Culture

I’m just exploring the outer limits of what this new strain can take. Once I know what I shouldn’t be doing, the rest is easy. I’m streamlining the process I think, because it took me too long to figure out the meat breath plant. 3 cycles to dial it in bah. I can do better.

Ah. I see. I can get on board with that. I get really board running the same thing. I’ve gone to keeping index cards to refer back to when I decided to run them again. Sometimes there isn’t much to report.
Cracking seeds can different every time. I know. I feel it’s good practice to record progress.

here are the leaves I damaged, a half dozen.

I cut them off, and the plant is doing great! I’ll take better care of her lol, don’t want to pull a boner like that in bloom mode.

There’s the entire crazy veg room. Plants are almost ready for their day in the sun! err bloom mode.

Roots and canopy of the harlequin. Definitely undergone a transformation into a crazy bulky plant.

meat breath in veg!

and in bloom.
OK! So listen to this story… I’m having real problems finding 8 inch ducting. They all sell 6 inch and that’s not enough. I don’t want to create pressure fluctuations in the system by running 8 inch tubes in 6 inch lines. So… I think I have to special order it. Like fuuuck. That’s the price you pay for living in the middle of nowhere I suppose.

Hilariously enough after asking around, the place I got the tubes from should have all the ducting I need. duh.

plants! It’s warm again here, so things are happening! Seemed like it was winter again there for a bit… but at least it didn’t snow lol!

ok, I’ve trashed the original FLC-BX1 seedling and I’m moving onto the next phase. Growing and testing it’s clone with no signs of hermaphrodite. I think I let the thing rip for 40 days or so, complete with light stressing… so I declare it stable! The smell is…quite different heh heh I think I detect a slight bit of rubber in the mix. We’ll see after the plant grows out for real! I’m excited about that test…mmmm the fruits of the labor. I got the sex determination down pat… time to scrub the seedling chamber. I’m still planning on having a bucket in there to grow out the autos… fucking gigantic harlequin plant is using up all my space.

I think I should test the EC of the meat breath in bloom, that one looks a little… light colored.

It was dangerously low at EC 1.2, so I have to bring it up slowly. Should be looking better soon!

yay meat breath! I’ve been working hard on the farm it was a warm one today! I cleaned up the bloom room and crap like that tossed the waste into the compost. Next task is assembling the cooling system! What I hope to do is get it going on the first two bulbs, then when the final crop comes down, hook up the last bulb.

cruising speed! The only bad part about summer is all the shit I have to do… lol! Today I have to ship my CAMPR license to the “man”. I fucking wish it was online with ssl then it could happen faster. Cut the snail mail part out.

So I plopped 2 of the sensi star and one of the c99 into the sprouting chamber. I’ve also got to pop one of the cbg autos! The three seedlings will go into the seedling sexing machine, and the auto will go straight into DWC under the leds. I’ll decide which auto to sprout when the time comes… really soon.
I’ll do the slicey dicey, for sexing then grow clones of any female that comes out of it. I’m not sure about the auto, since this is the first year I have grown them. I’ll get data!

Can’t wait to watch you do the autos. I could use some of the data for the future.

I’ll take a photo of my outdoor one, it’s bizarre!

I tried to take a good photo…but if you can see, the harlequin plant was below EC 1… it was .8 which is not healthy. I gave it a full dose.

Just some images of the nutrient deficiency. That’s what happens when the EC hit 1.0, they’re not lovin’ it.
