Perfect! That is where I drain mine as well. Next for me is a/c
It does look great
love the room i would go 0.8 gallon square pots and sog for that height unless you have lower plant count then you can do a screen ? 100 gallon is alot i use a 40 for 4x4 and change every 2 weeks. cant wait to see you get this room pumping!
that is my kinda set up!! love the sog style and thats a dialed in run
this happens tome also basement grow with furnace. i fill a 5 gallon bucket and put a towel in it with the top draped over edge of bucket with a fan low on it. works well. my basement runs 40s as well for humidity great for flowering though lol
How many of those are u fitting on a 4x4 table?
you can get 36 easy i went the cheap route and got circle and can only fit 25 now, the squre shape really gives more sq ft i would go with square in future but those pots add up when you getting into 72+
Do u hand water yours or how do u go about that
i flood and drain. with a timer. if i had lower cieling like you i would look into drippers but if your running high plant count adding all those lines can be a hassle. if you get a low profile res you can flood and drain imo easier.
once the plants are online, theyāll produce lots of humidity.
Nice and warm. I know where I would be sitting. Lol under the light.
Since I see you are using Home Assistant. You can make a CO2 monitor with an ESP32 and a MH-Z19 sensor, and record and read CO2 in Home Assistantā¦
I used this sensor:
MH-Z19B Infrared Carbon Dioxide Monitor Sensor
And a basic ESP32:
ESP32 ESP-WROOM-32 Development Board
I 3D printed a case for mine, but an electronics project box may work. It seems to be pretty sensitive, and works well. I could send you my ESP32 code and wiring diagram for this if you were interested. Its like 3 or 4 wires IIRC, the sensor harness has more than you need, I just used simple jumpers. I also used some ESP32s for temp / RH sensors, but honestly like my Goveeās better for that as they have a display on them, have battery vs USB power, and also integrate with HA.
High water tables SUCK. I have a full basement. Of the 218 houses in my lake community, only THREE have full basementsā¦ For a REASON! Mine is an older home, built long before most of the others. Growing up, I always had a wet basement if it rained, even WITH a sump pump. Maybe 15 years ago I added a second sump pit / sump pump on the opposite side of the basement. First time in my life I had a dry basement. If you have good drainage under the house, and put in a sump pit thats 30-36" deep, it will help keep the water table under the house low enough to have a dry basement. MAJOR benefit for little cost but some hard work.
You guys got a lot going on. Co2 is nice. Fungus blocks work ok. I used something back years ago. It was something frozen. Iām sorry I cannot remember. Itās not what you might think. I found this working at mills. Iāll find out.
dry ice? Itās entirely carbon dioxide.
Yea but I thought it might be something else. I tried to find out.
Hook me up
I already got a spare esp32 sitting infront of me ill order that sensor now.
Room is coming along
Thanks for sharing
