So, I pulled the plant out of my room, but I decided to keep it under observation until I had definite confirmation.
I’m kinda glad I didn’t immediately trash it, because all those questionable growths turned out to be pistillate flowers. No nanners. It’s chock full of normal female flowers.
I guess it was just developing a bit different, but it seems fine now. I was expecting the entire thing to be festooned with nanners, but I looked it over carefully and it is completely normal.
So, I decided to put it back in the room and let it go. I will keep a close eye on it, but as long as it shows normal growth I won’t destroy it.
