Ya Iā€™m getting back into my groove now that I finally got some big bottles of General Hydro Flora. I live in a real small townā€¦ like 2000 ppl kinda small and my choices for growing supplies are minimal at best at least for indoor.
Iā€™m growing the in sunshine mix 4 (added gypsum and dolopril) feeding 8ml flora micro (hardwater version) and 16ml flora bloom on a feed/water/water schedule. PH going in at 6.6 to 6.8. On one of the waterings I add 1 teaspoon of epsom salts. Giving them 2 cups each application but now that they are filling those #1 pots with roots and nearing transplant timeā€¦ I am bumping that up to 2 1/2 cups each application. Seems to be keeping them happy and vigorous. It has been a bit of a learning curve under this HLG 600Bspec but as long as I do my part and stick to my tried and true GH Flora Lucas Formulaā€¦ me and the plants seem to get along

Started a late batch of the coastal blueberry, thanks to my homie @Originalweedman but they all sprouted and Iā€™m excited to see what they can do. I have 11 blueberry strains going this year. The year of the blueberry!

3 in the middle are the coastal blueberry.

@SHSC-1 the heat wave followed by torrential rains made this thing:

Coastal Blueberry:

Itā€™s a pleasure seeing your work reveal itself so majestically, and as expected with all the logs weā€™ve seen here on OG. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :+1:

right on, nice vigor in that one eh? @Pigeonman
Last year these plants proved to be very solid outdoor for several growers in what I consider ā€œless than idealā€ climate regions. This run Iā€™m doing wonā€™t be light depped like I usually do here at 52N in the greenhouse/coldframe so it will be revealling to see how it shakes out.

The only plant of the same age thatā€™s bigger is the Alaskan Thunderfuck, which has the word fuck in there for reasons

Itā€™ll get ā€œcookedā€ with near all day full sun in the spot I planted it so this should get wild as Iā€™m not topping any of the 2024 started plants.

Iā€™m seriously thinking about dropping some ā€œFarmer Packsā€ of this line but not sure of there is interest in 50 and 100 seed packs. Iā€™ve got a few thousand of this generation in the cold storage and probably want to see those sell off before I release another pure line.
This summer though it will be about melding the fast flowering outdoor Friesland Indica IBL with Coastal Blueberry. I also really like what I am seeing from a couple friendā€™s test gardens of OGKB 2.0 x BBX which was the father of Coastal Blueberry so an OGKB 2.0 x Coastal Blueberry mash up is in play possibly. Now that I have that Blueberry Muffin HSO cutā€¦ I will be hard pressed not to pollinate one of those with the Coastal Blueberry LOL fun times ahead!!

Niceā€¦ Is the stem also purple or maroon??

The stem is, but the purple on the leaves faded as they grew out @Originalweedman.

Yeah , my 90s BB has maroon in the new growth and on the stem but it also disappears when the new stuff grows out. The other one is purple on the undersides of the leaves and the stems dark purple. I was curious to see if there were similaritys. GL with your grow . Thats gonna be a nice plant. I hope my 2 Coastals have that same trait.

That dark color on the new growth is a definite sign of Blueberry. Most of the original plants have that going on. Itā€™s something you donā€™t see very often in other varieties.

Thats what I was thinking. I have 3 that are just green and I m wondering how those will turn out.

It doesnā€™t mean anything really. Just some have it and some donā€™t. I love all colors they have. Flo even has more than that. One of the most beautiful plants around.

Im so fascinated with the older versions of BB . I know alot of guys have good strains out there now but I ve never seen or smoked anything like the 90s BB . I knew when the nug came out of the bag that this was some next level shit .lol I can not wait to have a huge supply of seeds I can really go through and go backwards till I find something similar.
