very nice
Thank you sir!
This is one of nicest smelling strains I have ever had. I coild not pick a favorite but this one is sure on the amazing smell list for sure. The only sad part is I am almost out of it, lol.
I have a few cross of 88g13. Not sure if it’s the BBHP… I know I have a cross with “The White” though.
Let me double check my seed bin!
Question for you @SHSC-1 or for anyone who has grown the Coastal BB?
We have had an intense heat wave for the last several weeks, that forced my plant into a hibernation like state. The buds stopped growing during the heat. Looking at the buds, the trichomes have largely turned, with mostly amber on the leaves and very milky on the buds (no amber yet).
Weather shifted last few days to cool humid and rainy. Trying to figure out if I risk leaving the plant for a few more weeks or harvest before I risk any mold.
Seeing a lot of new growth (see second shot) in the buds and am not sure what to do.
thanks
I grew mine outdoors this year in southern ontario. It got huge and flushed with buds and vegaitive growth but it also started to seemingly stall when sept hit and the temps stayed in the mid 20s!
When i cropped it i didnt have amber yet but the humidity was so high that i was unwilling to risk any fuckery.
The grove bag stink so damn good when i open . I got just under 1 lb dried around 58%rh.
have you smoked any yet? Not too racy?
Its been down for less than 2 weeks so i havent yet.
But i can say that when i open the bag the Mrs knows in the other room and yells “Blueberry!” When the stank hits her.
I hope to find some primo nugs, then take the shake from the back to the tumbler for keif, then press the smalls for rosin, the coat those primo nugs in the rosin and then dust them in the kief.
I have never had a moonrock before and whem i do it’ll be made from my own homegrown.
Hey there , flowers are looking good!
I have had plants of many different strains kinda stall out a bit when extreme heat hits them for a few days. my greenhouse was hitting 52C last year during a heatwave that was pushing the high 30’s outside. Several plants reacted negatively but in the end seemed to finish up well enough but with slightly smaller than expected flowers.
The Coastal Blueberry has shown to be highly resistant to the fall weather for the guys out in Ontario. The guy that passed me the seeds that I worked with for this did the original work on the BC Sunshine Coast where the sea level , coastal rainforest environment subjects plants to lots of rain and high humidity this time of year. It is why I chose this line to develop further as I felt it was a good candidate for running in my location which is 3000 ft above sea level at 52N in BC but in a semi arid , forested region. My season is really short from June to about now hehe. I am fortunate that the weather has been “reasonable” again this year. Other years we have had full on winter conditions by now with deep frosts every night and potential of snowfall.
With the season change comes the day night differential and dew point which creates a lot of moisture/condensation inside the greenhouse nearly every night. While I was away I gave them each a couple gallons of water and just shut the door and put the 2 oscillating fans on timers for 10 am to 6pm and walked away. The plants handled that fine as I usually have to crack the door 1/3 of the way every day to keep the humidity down.
I’m watching my plats like a hawk and though mine probably really need 2 more weeks to truly be “done” … I’m beginning harvesting in 5 days as I’m gonna be preoccupied with moose hunting come the 19th
Is the Costal Blueberry more resistant to fall weather than your LVRK crosses?
Anybody got dried nugs they can show. Live plants look so good, just wanted to seed the buds too. Thnx
I’ll try to memberberries when back home @nick131740 !
