New Grower, killed seeds, first try, help please lmao

my last grow I used black strap molasses and powered kelp to feed the plants,You have to be careful with the power kelp too much and the leafs will go crispy lol ask me how I know that.
This time I bought the fox farms trio of nutes,I just want to see if there’s a difference in growth rate, well I suppose you can’t really tell with auto flowers since their on a mission to grow anyway,

Maybe my next grow I’ll just grow the seeds I made from my last grow

You in the states if so buy some black gold soil to start your plants make your life easy, after this grow is done I’m going back to plastic 3 gallon pots
I hate fiber pots, water gets everywhere I have dinner plates under them lol water gets everywhere
Remember this, you need to keep a check on that so you don’t get mold on the bottom of the fiber pots from sitting in water

What your saying is environmental temperature isn’t the same as surface temperature on the leaf?

So I need a laser thermometer?

I’m just trying to build the proper environment for a thriving grow.

Also, whats a good fan and filter kit for a 27"x27"x63" tent ? At the moment i only have clip on fans in the tents for air movement, and a square computer fan in the top port to draw heat from the light out.

Honestly, I’m over-complicating it. The chart you see online is plenty accurate for all intents and purposes.

@SweetLeaf I usually use promix hp with mycro sometimes and the fung. I like it but due to covid had to settle for peatmoss from menards…which was still premier product.

Not that big of a tent how many plants you planing to put in it,if their auto flower plants they will get big,and having a shit load of plants in a tiny tent is going to cuz problems, plants are going to be on top of each other on less you grow little indica plants

My first tent was same size as your I had 5 little indica plants growing 2 of them ended up getting mold

A 4 inch fan is plenty for that size tent. I have a 2 x 4 x 5 tent and the 4" fan handles it well. @anon98660487 is right though about plant count. I have 5 autos in mine 2 larger and 3 smaller indica ones. It could not handle any more or anything bigger.

I only planned on growing maybe two at a time.

I’m wondering why you just didn’t buy a big tent instead of spending the money on 2 tents,
Seems like you spent a lot of money on your setup, and with 2 small tents like yours, you probably on be able to put 2 plants in each tent,if your growing auto plants, maybe 3 plants using normal female indica plants since you’re going to use 5 gallon pots as well, sativa plants well outgrow them tents keep that in mind

General noob fuck up, I didnt have any idea as to how larger the tents needed to be, I see now that a 3x3x7 is kinda a minimal for a good yielding run, thinking of getting a 4x4 gorrila tent after a successful harvest. Then ill feel more comfortable spending more money over my noob decision

As an idea, I have a 3x3x6 tent and I can fit 4, maybe 5 if no fan, shorter(2-3ft in full flower)/non-bushy plants in it. If they’re bigger/bushy plants, I can really only fit 2 comfortably and still have room for an oscillating fan. A good DWC grow with a month or so of veg, a single plant could easily fill the entire 3x3 by itself. It just depends how you want to grow and what exactly you’re growing.

This is the ,I did 5 small Indica plants In a small
I had to lollipop the shit out of the plants as well, and 2 got mold and had to be binned, like the sour kush auto I just grew said on the website medium size plant it got to 5ft high and I had to zip tie the branches to stop it spreading all over the tent

not had luck with any vivosun stuff

Their fans are junk,I just got a replacement fan on Sunday from amazon other fan lasted a week
Loud rattling noise and a screw came flying out of the duct
New fan don’t move air unless your crank it up to full

So ac infinity t6, I think im going to go with that one, because if needed I can put it in a bigger tent if I get one later on. At least my lights aren’t pure shit. So one up side.

Also the 2x2x3.5 tent has 1000+ pin hole light leaks all the way around it and pretty much every single stitch point.
The marshydro tent seems to be much better quality. Can not find any light leaks. And the tent seems to be more shiny

So I skimmed through the post and I didn’t see one mention of possible damping off you stated that they sprouted grew a bit and just died? Sounds like a soil issue to me instead of making a hundred different changes maybe get you soil correct first … pics will help 1 st and foremost otherwise we’re just shooting in the dark here.
