My son-in-law is a manager of 3 water systems feeding communities in California. He has publications from the EPA about having to filter out microplastics in the PPB range. Your filters are not catching it.
Here’s some important reading for you.
I know what you mean…true, very small microplastics will get through. But I don’t think anyone is saying to grind that puck to a paste. It’s fair to say any typical sediment filter you use is catching any particles. No one’s out there with fish nets making RSO, trying to strain out plant material I’d even bet a coffee filter is good enough to catch any plastic particles. Again…no one is saying to grind it to a paste.
Anybody try this method yet?
This is the ultimate RSO method !
Very clear and concise, precious information…
I used to leave the cannabis soaked in alcohol for too long, and not using water. This method gives a much better end product. I understood that timing is very important too .
I use mesh bags to filter/squeeze and then coffee filters.
Thank you very much for sharing !
