So this run was nothing but straight trouble. It happens I guess. Had some heat issues and humidity fluctuations, a fan crapped out on me and so did my old dehumidifier.
My plants kept taking longer foxtailing and never seemed to actually finish, but again between my environment issues I had this run, with some not perfectly stable genetics equals this mess.
I chopped everything and will probably be using it in hash production or edibles so my time isn’t completely wasted.
I talked to a buddy on roll it up who also tested for Norstar genetics around the same time as me.
He grew everything like he normally does and he has three or four keeper strains in rotation, but the new testers went Hermie and seeded all his keepers and messed up his run as well, so I admit, I did not have my environment dialed in like I should have, but definitely shows me that the last Norstar strain I grew that went hermie was not my fault as some of their Genetics are not completely stable and may need a different type of environment then say hot and humid Florida, even though I am indoors.
During mid summer heat and humidity still are pretty high inside which is why I have to run so many fans and dehumidifier 24 seven.
Wish I didn’t feel like I lost so many months, but I am preparing for the next run with some new approaches in mind.
I will probably be making a new thread for that grow, as it is not related to Norstar or Subcool.
I have been on a huge Bodhi and Strayfox collecting spree, so I’ll be popping some of those gems next I hope.
Still have some good ideas for F2’s I want to make, and once I have a dad or two in my stable I’ll be making lots of seeds via pollen chucking with moms and dads I like to share on here through giveaways etc.
