I think the incense musk cologne smells come from the other side of the line, most hazes I’ve had experience with have a piney, musky, peppery anise /black licorice or lemon smell but they lack the depth and don’t carry the intoxicating smells that many of the nl5haze lines tend to have .

My jack herer is terpineoline dominant. She smells like a sandalwood lemon with a nice earthy background. 🤷

I have the real deal piff from The dominicans kn 110th and broadway and the strain that’s closest to it I found is Durant dream its the good sense green piff with that mazing cucumber refreshing exhale and sinature haze smell not the other Larry hairy pif f hazes have them to dm me @downlowgrowz i can show u where to find em or trade I have a vault of 100k plus also have an f4 uncrossed since 1969 and have those beans to can reach over 18ft outdoors had one 14ft in Ct outdoors but has a 2o week flower that one.

Yea so back in 2005 I used to get this haze from this dude called old reese and shit was sold in little glass viles .7 for 15$ or a gram for 20$ the shit was sooo catpissy, soapy and sweet! Was so white with trichromes that the weed would glisten in the sun! tasted like heaven and the high was the BEST high I have ever had til this day… I need to know where or who might be able to locate this cut/ cultivar. If it helps this was the northshore east coast Massachusetts, town of the witches there if yky.
Btw I did just pick up a bunch of packs from Doc D before he moved from mexico. I got a few A5haze/thai bx crosses some being CBH, Sanat cruz pure haze, Bandaid haze 4.2 I can’t think of the rest but yea Idk if that helps… Ik@Piffcoastfarms has got some fire that beyond catches my eyes, If things haven’t been really tight with cash latley I would’ve already got a pack or 2 from you guys, but I do plan on saving up and splurging on a few packs soon enough…

it appears that a lot of pure narrow leaf sativa landraces carry this (frankincense)expression ~10% of the time, such as colombian punto rojo, highland oaxacan, viet da lat, indian gokarna, etc. etc. but you won’t find it in the commercial market cause why would growers spend 16-24 weeks on something when they can get a batch of some blokwork out in 8-10 weeks?

I’m sure there’s some getting grown but probably all head stash doubt much of it gets sold.
Not overly tough to grow a few long flowering plants if your flower rooms continually going . Just do a quick clean and bring in the next batch of 8 week plants.
I’ve done it a few times with decent success.

it’s all over new york in crosses, but has been hybridized… just grow different incense type hazes and cross it with northern lights and you’ll get something close - this was never one strain, but dutch stuff grown in florida and sent to wash heights etc…

Good point, ive found alot of haze hybrids or really any sativa can bring that piff( frankensince) smell. Id say maybe 1 in 20 or so. Especially true for nl x hazes. Strangley ive found that piffy terp in dutch hazes than anything else ive grown.
