Alright, to bring it back on track.

I read that most automatic strains are grown in 3 gallon or smaller containers.

How does that work with the 6gall octopot size? Do autos spend too much time mapping out the container?

Which watering method are you guys using?

Performance

(usually ride level 1-2 water level)

level 3 soaks the grow medium too much.

Yea, only time ill ever fill to 3, is if I’m going to be gone from the house for a couple days.

oh, and first fill-up, is always a 3. (makes a good pre-charge of water and food)

I didnt precharge my coco, i only charged them when i dropped the seedlings in.

thats a good question. Biggest fear is the plant will spend its time building roots over building leafy greens.

im assuming a auto flower autos when it reaches a certain maturity not when it hits 30-40 days. (never grown autos before, so throwing rocks into a hole at this point.)

Someone was talking about a light mover , so check this out
The fabric bag in the Octopots can spin ! I often have worried about the branches in the back not getting enough light . I’ve been giving them a 1/4 turn 2x a week
It can’t hurt

I used molasses the entire grow.

3rd image is a seed, the rest are clones.

looks like clones are best

No shortage of roots , general hydro nutrients also stain the roots making them look bad fyi. Molasses is why they look brown glad you mentioned that .
