from growing the berger cut once… it does seem different than the one CSI holds… mainly because it branches decently. Ive grown a couple csi bubba crosses and they all are very totem pole in structure. not the largest amount of evidence but csis bubba does really seem
to bring totem pole structure. It does herm similarly tho lol - super hidden in the base of the buds.
@HolyAngel and @Cannavore confirmed that the original bubba kush used in bubbashine and csi bubba work isn’t the Matt berger cut, which came from orgnkid
I have no idea what the deal is beyond that. It’s a mystery.

from what i learned about that one:
Loompa acquired the LHB in the mid 2000’s from a friend of his who stole cuttings from a guy he was working for. The guy his friend worked for apparently was a NY transplant to Humboldt.
It’s rumored to be a Josh D bagseed or something like that. Some of the cuts are also reportedly to just be the Josh D but undergone epigenetic changes. Like Diablo and the G-cut of Skywalker.
That’s it right there. Ends so much of the nonsense we get ourselves into over names and this cut or that cut if we just do it the right way like this. Haha. After a few runs in your room, which is best? That’s the best for you. Us stoners seem to love making things complicated though.
I mostly am interested because it helps me understand some quirks of breeding, kush, and hybridization.
Seeing phenotypical variation and how certain parents influence certain pools. Scent groups, unique traits, flower or plant morphology.
For example some of these broad leafs really do not like wet feet! But loompas headband on the other side grows pretty shallow roots so likes to be watered differently.
