Picture 1 is of Flower2. I’ve got the 2 underdog og and one French Macaroons hanging. They are on day 10 of drying. Humidity is sitting between 54 and 60% Temps at 65f
Picture 2 is the veg tent. They all got watered with recharge and big 6 today. The blueberry headband in the way back and the 2 in the middle infront of it are going into flower 2 after drying is done. The other 3 French macaroons and 3 purple punch will go into flower 1 after those girls are done. Then there are the 3 tangerine dream. They are chugging along fine. I’m about to pop either 3 white widow or 3 exodus cheese both from green house seeds.
Picture 3 is of Flower 1ive got 5 bubble gum one purple punch and 1 alien Bubba. They are all starting week 5 they got topdressed with Colorado worm company worm castings and like Jeremy from BAS said I found a few worms! I’ll never buy home depot worm castings again! They also got watered with big 6 and recharge.

The last picture is my Alien Bubba. She is so damn pretty! I can’t wait to smoke her again. I’m upset she isn’t more productive or I’d keep her around. I’ll be buying more Bubba crosses in the future for sure! The rest if these girls are doing well. Some looked like shit to start but everyone has bounced back. I’m hoping this will be my last harvest of shitty little dinky plants. They are all packing on frost and will be smokable for sure but I don’t really care for the bubble gum (which makes up 5 of these girls) and the purple punch had a rough go so she isn’t as productive as she could have been. They are in the middle of week 5 and will be receiving only water from here on out.
Everyone is looking good except the damn purple punch in the middle. Some how she got over watered when everything else is thriving. Im probably going to toss her. I’ve got 2 white widow seeds and 3 exudos cheese seeds germinating under those black 1gal pots on the head mat.
I finally got all my soil mixed up. all 70gallons of it reamended and mixed with compost. I also went through and started throwing out old growing stuff from when I started back in 2019.
I’ve got to say I’m a bit annoyed with Mars hydro. The quality of thier products is good I’ve got no complaints there. My problem lies in marketing. In 2020 when I bought my MH tent and fc3000 I was under the impression that the 39"x39"x72" tent (3x3) was meant to go with the fc3000. Now that I’m looking g into a new light for the 3x3 tent I was looking at all of thier lights when I came acrossed the new recommendations for the fc3000 which states. “Recomended flower foot print for a 2.5’ x 2.5’ tent” this is over one foot smaller foot print then thier version of the 3x3 which is 39"x39". I’ll be going with the TS3000 in flower 2 when I upgrade instead of another fc3000. The it’s 2.7u i stead of 2.8u but it’s 450watts instead of the fc3000 which is only 300. The flower footprint for the ts3000 is 4x4 so I will finally be utilizing my space and setup to the fullest
So I culled that purple punch. It was over watered. I’ve got 2 white widow and 2 exudos cheese in the solo cups. One of each is in the cup in cup so I can check those roots. I still have one exudos cheese in the paper towel. Oh and I didn’t tell you guys due to crappy packaging from greenhouse seeds I lost one of the white widow beans. The seeds come stuck to a sticker on one side and little plastic bubbles on the other. When I was trying to peel the sticker away.(which was too hard) I flung one of the seeds somewhere. Thank God that was only worth 10 bucks.

Man. I just had the worst crop I’ve ever grown. 3 years in and you’d think this would have been a year or 2 ago. Welp I’ve learned my lesson. If the plants get neglected just start over. I’m not a doctor if it’s not a defficancey or something simple I’m not going to play “Mr. Save your girl”. Off of 3 plants I got about a half ounce. I couldn’t even believe it. I ended up throwing away most of the udog that was behind. The only positive I can take away from this is the French Macaroons will put out quality nugs even when you fuck it up. It didn’t yeild alot obviously but it is still dank. The udog sucks. It will get you high in a joint but it doesn’t taste good. I almost wish I had bud rot or pm to explain the half ounce yeild off of 3 plants. I’m not giving up though. I’ve got seeds planted and were going to try this again.
The girls in flower right now won’t yeild a whole lot but I’m seeing some nice tric coverage. that alien Bubba even though it’s a small plant is pretty sexy. My purple punch is pretty impressive. I fucked that one up pretty bad and the nugs even on the lowers are getting frosty. It smells like grape fruit snacks. I’m glad I’ve got 3 other girls going behind her. As for the bubble gums. They are frosting up. All the nuhs are small but I’m hoping for 3 ounces of the bubble gum and an ounce and a half for the purple punch and alien Bubba. I’m goi g to be vegging out my plants more. I’ve really been focusing on root development and filling out my pots fully before transplant. I’ve had root zones fall all the way out from not filling g out pots before I up pot.
To end on a positive note I’ve got white widow, exodus cheese, and blueberry headband waiting to be sifted through. I hope I get at least one good keeper from them. I need something that will yeild to hold me over in between runs. Now I know I’m not a good grower it I feel like the seeds I’ve been working with have never been known as yeilders. I’ve seen old-school style big hairy colas once before on some bag seed but everything else really had a pretty similar nug structure.

Onward and upward! I, totally, get the frustration. If someone looked at what I’ve done to my grow in the last four months, they’d think I never grew out a plant in my life. Success in past runs don’t mean the next one is going to go as planned. I’ve had to re-boot the grow several times recently. But onward and upward for me too.

It’s funny to think about the misconceptions we have going into this. I remember thinking I was going to pull 2 to 3 ounces per plant and always have jars on deck. I’ve cleared my tents out twice and than there was this “harvest”. I’ve been really lucky that I haven’t had to chop a crop because of an infestation or anything like that but there are still alot of obstacles to over come that we generally don’t think about.

What’s funny though is the French macaroons I harvested is some of the best weed I’ve ever grown. As soon as I open the little pill bottle the entire basement smells just like I opened the tent I currently have in the end of week 5 of flower.

Walmart had seeds for 20c a pack so I grabbed 10 for some SST in the next few weeks. I’ve got sun flower and pumpkin seeds germinating right now for some tea later in the week

I did my first “dry sift” run yesterday on some trim I’ve had in the freezer from the last year. Dry sift is in quotations because I just ran it over my trim bin. However, I really likes the results. It’s keif really it’s got a bunch of contaminates but I think it’s peaked my interest. I have bubble bags(Amazon cheapos) but drying and the threat of mold freaks me out. So instead of upgrading the bubble bags maybe ill just get some dry sift screens.
