Ohio Dumpster

I can almost guarantee you where Sohio Boyz G13 came from, as my buddy is the guy that they got it from, if I’m not mistaken. He told me that awhile ago. By all means, please ask, and don’t divulge any info before you ask. See what they say and let me know. It came from my guy out of Cinci. Him and his buddy told me the whole story of where they got it. Is it G? Yes, but slightly different than the original cut. His buddy had the real deal many years ago. Found a few selfed seeds in it. Sprouted them not long ago. Selected the phenotype that most closely resembled the original cut. Those two guys have been growing the shit out of it and spreading it all over Ohio like wildfire. It’s so common now that the line is blurred between the original cut and this new slightly different version. Do I have their cut? Yes, I already have it. is it great? Yes. Is it as good as the original? Not quite. And that’s why I continue to search. If the original is gone, then I would have to say that I am officially the last person to have ever had it. Well, not exactly, as it was one of my friends that was keeping it for me and he lost it. Anybody claiming to have Ohio G13 is more than likely holding this new cut. If they claim to have the original, that’s what I’m interested in. And I need some backstory to believe it. Somebody would have to have had this for a couple years, for there to be no possibility of it being the new cut. I did get a clone from a guy that is now selling them from his store, which is supposed to be the real deal. He doesn’t know yet for sure as he just got it. He vetted the source his best he could and the guy swears it’s the real deal. I have not flipped it to flowering yet, but I can say that the vegetative growth does not resemble the cut I had. Not at all. But he showed me a finished bud, and it did have a close resemblance. I won’t really know until I run it all the way through .

When you grow up on black market Ohio herb and Columbus style pizza, everything else just falls short

what is Columbus style pizza? don’t tell me it’s Massey’s!
I won’t have anything other than pizza house.

Pizza house is so good, we always used to get meatball+Jalapeno or Pepperoni and Feta. I’d say that qualifies as Columbus style, thin crust loaded edge edge. Provolone, lots of toppings. Dante’s and Gatto’s. Rubinos. That kind of thing. Massey’s is definitely one of the chains that helped to popularize that style.

Damn, the lemon G smells pretty much the same from the day it first develops trichomes to the day you cut it down

The weird thing is, when i get it from him, its kind of dark, leafy, larfy looking, but reeeeeeeeks and tastes like lemon to the max. Its mouth watering. Mine grew the complete opposite. It was super fuckin rock hard dense nugs that were frosted to the max, but absolutely zero lemon terps.

If you happen to follow up on this & post about it I’ll be very interested in what you find! :+1:

I have a few packs of COPA’s Gold School (Meigs Gold x High Voltage) that I’m excited to run, hopefully next year

Lemon G has been one of my favorites to smoke. It has a good stink to it that takes me back 10+ years. Growing it now myself for the first time and I’m getting ready to put it into flowering soon

Im getting ready to flower the Lemon G again. Ive been growing in these autopots, and while some plants do absolutely incredible in them, others don’t do so we’ll I’ve noticed. The autopot system is amazing if you want to grow a tent full of the same strain, which i plan on doing with my 4x4 eventually, but I love growing a bunch of different strains at once. Im switching over to these ac infinty self wicking bases for a bit to see how they do. My buddy absolutely loves them. I feel like the Lemon G is a super light feeder. I mean look at @schmarmpit plant. Straight in the ground, no ferts, and it turned out to be a healthy, monster of a plant. I believe i waay overfed it last time, even though it didnt show any signs. I couldn’t get it to flush out at all though and i did super light feed the last 2 weeks of flower. Alwayz learnin some shit lol.

Hey, I just ran a pack of his Gold School! Didn’t know the name until now. I got 4 girls from it. I ran 2 inside and 2 outside. They all did great. They were vigorous as hell. I was working hard to control their stretch inside. The outside gals were given less veg time but even they got way bigger than others that went out the same time. All four of them gave up surprisingly similar kind of bud, which is this anise, peppery, tropical scented buds that were nice and dense and finished very quickly. I think his High Voltage male is known for the quicker flowering times. The stone is decent and edges more towards the zippy, getrdone type smoke. And the smoke is also pretty similar among all four. I was pleasantly surprised. Let’s see if I got any pics heruuhhhhh

The inside plants were just so leggy and stretchy in comparison. They didn’t like being confined. And they made these dense pinecone shaped buds compared to the leafier, looser, longer colas from outside. But somehow, they all still smell and smoke pretty similar. From what COPA said about the Meigs Gold gal he found from the old seeds, she was insanely huge and vigorous.

Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing these schmarm :herb:

Gonna have to make a game plan for managing the height when I start the Gold School. Currently only able to do indoors, but who knows if that could change by the time I get around to these

Catfish Biff’s was good! like most of campus, it’s gone now. Such a boring areas now.

Wow that is a beautiful plant! I am hoping to get my hands on a true Lemon G cut early next year so I can grow it out in a hoophouse. I grew lemon g x emerald fire og this year in a hoophouse and ended up leaving town for awhile. Used an organic “water only” nutrient mix so I just had someone water it for me and it ended up doing really well despite a little neglect and a slight nutrient starvation towards the end. I never used any pesticides and it seemed to be completely pest free as well which is a huge plus especially because there are lots of fields around and when they are cut we normally run into aphid issues among other things. I’m near Cincinnati so I was considering trying to get my hands on Interstellar’s cut. Don’t mind driving a couple hours if I have to.

Might be worth looking into. He’s legit and sells tons of fire cuts.

Turns out SOhioBoyz got two cuts of the G13 now; “The original” and the “OH-G13”. We’ll be meeting in person soon enough and I’ll get lots more details then. Not sure which I’d want lol.

Woah, look at all the double serrations on those G13 leaves. Lemon G looks very similar. I can totally see how G13 was the same parent of Lemon G and Dumpster. Such similar structures, even from that single clone shot. I went and checked the Dumpster for double serrations and couldn’t find any in veg, but did find a few on the late flowering plant, like less than 10%.

SohioBoyz have “Ohio G13” from a guy that’s been spreading it like crazy. Fact. Also a fact that it is from the G13 genetic I’m looking for, but not quite the same as the original cut. It’s about %90 the same. It came from a random seed found in a G13 bud years ago and recently brought to life. Only somebody like myself can tell this new G apart from the original cut. All my information came firsthand.

If SohioBoyz has the original, it should be very very very similar to the “Ohio G13” that’s been making the rounds for about a year now. How much does he want for the original, and show me the pics

I have the true Lemon G, traced back from the breeder. Only two people inbetween me and the breeder. It’s lemons on top of lemons.
