I’m interested to see her structure and how it compares.
I don’t actually give a single wet fart if it’s “real” or not. If it smokes like dumpster 
it’s dumpster to me.

Heres a few better close ups of " the Dump". She got pretty burnt up in my autopot system. She is defiantly a light feeder. All my other plants are looking amazing. Its starting to really pack on weight now.

Hello fellow Buckeye. Some Ohio strain info for ya.
Here in Ohio since roughly the late 90s, we’ve had a very famous cut known as G13. We can argue about what the origin of that cut is until we are blue in the face. But what I can tell you that it was without a doubt, world class and the best anybody ever smoked back in the day. I grew her for 20 years. Lost her only a few years ago. I’m looking for her again. Any help would be appreciated. Anybody claiming to have this cut would need to also have a story to back it up, because there is a version of it being rapidly spread through the state now on Instagram. It absolutely is from the original, but it is slightly different. Only somebody like myself can tell the difference. The new one smells ever so slightly different on the back end, and is leafier in the buds unfortunately. I created many crosses with the original G13 cut. Unfortunately my seed collection is very old now and it would take some wizardry to get them going. I’d be happy to pass you some.
Dumpster is G13 x NL and was created decades ago in Columbus.
Lemon G Was created decades ago in the Athens area, and is G13 x Skunk Misty.
Illudium the lineage is escaping my memory at this particular moment. The story about it being from the Hells Angels biker club is true, not myth.

I had the true Ohio G13 for two decades, up until just a few years ago. Looking to track down my lost love. Definitely not the same as Lemon G, which is actually G13 x Skunk Misty. Dumpster is the G13 x NL.
Do you have G13? Specifically being able to trace it back a few years, before the sudden spread of “Ohio G13” on Instagram, would help. I know the exact story of the one floating around commonly now. It’s directly related but only about %90 sillmilar to what the original cut is.

You ohio boys aint playing. Cool strains ive never smoked any of yalls classics, they look great. The illadium has a real " kushy" almost bubba look to it. Check out my g13 x hashplant looks just like the lemon g

Did you happen to grow the Dumpster?
So I’ve seen an Ohio cut of g13, the G, and the lemon G. I posted a pic of the G cut, which I no longer have. I gave a cut to “the guy downtown” who did lots of really cool breeding with it. I got my cut from one of the team deathstar people.

I haven’t grown Dumpster. But I did get a cut of it a few days ago. My primary interest is the G13, which is the all-time best Ohio strain and kingmaker of new strains.

Yea, i been meaning to update this thread. After growing this plant out and talking to a few locals that grew the dumpster back years ago. I dont believe the plant i had is the real thing. I ended up letting it go. It was a massive yielder and grew huge fuckin chunky buds, bud unfortunately they were suseptible to moldcandvi found it to be pretty mids. It has a pleasant fruity aroma, but not something id consider a keeper. There’s a local guy that supposedly has the real deal so i might eventually reach out to him.

Interested to hear more about your possible real deal. I’m growing out the one we discussed via PM in my next hydro grow. I got mine from a guy in Zanesville who goes by “Interstellar Genetics” - unsure if it’s legit or not, but we’ll see.
I think when we compared notes, we found that our cuts may be the same. I’ll be disappointed if mine turns out to also not be legit.
Shame you lost some crop to mold, man. Mids are always fun to have around! Roll it up and take it to parties, or just chief it all day.

From what I’ve heard, he’s legit, but who really knows. So many ppl in Ohio trying to cash in on legalization now. Ive bought 4 cuts of “deathstar” that were supposedly legit, but i haven’t been impressed with any of them.

I got a cut of Deathstar from him as well. It’s only list to grow out sometime soon. I want to pull a few cuts off it and go straight to 12/12 and see what we end up with.

Nice to make your acquaintance, @Minoltapimp. I’m down here in Athens, home of Lemon G! And I think the beginnings of Deathstar started down here too before they moved operations up to Columbus.
Anywho, like many others I’ve been collecting and growing out the Ohio cuts. I’ve smoked on Lemon G and Deathstar for as long as I’ve been here (early 2000’s). Never had Dumpster or Illudium but have grown them both out as well. Illudium is basically a Bubba variety, very similar. Great grower, awesome buds, classic bubba smell and flavors, and a mild high (like I also get with Bubba (berger cut)). I’m also looking forward to trying Afghani Mango sometime (smoked it a bunch), and now you’ve got me very interested in the G13 as well which I’ve never experienced. I hope you get her back!
My all time favorite is Lemon G. I’ve grown her inside for several rounds now, never quite seeing her true potential. Then this year I had the pleasure of finally getting to grow her outside, legally! She was planted directly in the ground, hardly watered, fed, or anything, and she just beasted out despite the drought affecting the whole area. I couldn’t believe it. I got over 2.5 lbs from this monster and I’ve been handing it out to everyone I know who smokes. Anyone who’s had it before just instantly has memories when they smell this stuff. It’s certainly one of a kind.
Like @douggyfresh420, I’ve also been through several Deathstar cuts, never quite seeing what I remember as being the real deal which I’ve both grown and smoked back in the day. To date, the rarebuyer cut of Deathstar has been the closest. I also ran it outdoor this year in an octopot and had great success. It’s been way stinkier and greasier than any run I’ve done indoor so far. Just so hard to compare as back then I was running HPS and these days the lights, feed, everything is different. But the outdoor bud has me thinking this cut is legit.
I’ve also been digging into Meig’s Gold, another local legend. I ran some Meig’s Gold crosses from COPA outside this year and had great success. Since handing out gobs of the Lemon G, I managed to find someone that claims to be holding an original Meig’s Gold cut from back in the day and I’m way stoked to follow up on that trail.
Meanwhile Athens has been hosting many clone trading expos since legalization. There’s a few guys now slinging around Ohio cuts so I’ve been feeling less need to hold them myself but I’ll always hold Lemon G and Deathstar. Ronnie from Southeast Ohio Boyz has Afghani Mango and G13 and all the cuts. I’ll have to chat and see where that G13 came from.
