So, true! No yesterday, no tomorrow, only here and now.
I’m lucky this go round. My heat is keeping me toasty. I acquired a little more wood before this storm. My plants are toasty, too. The forecast changed on a dime. I think snow is mostly over for tonight, and it’s gonna be much warmer the next two days.
It is cold again tonight, 9º just now. We did get a few more inches of snow today. It got harder the later it got, but I think it may have slowed down. I need to go stick my nose out of the front door. It’s a tried and true method for weather data gathering.

Yep, 8º at my front porch, and it feels just like you’d expect it to feel if you went out in your short sleeve t-shirt. Not windy, and snow has stopped. Safe to go to bed now. I have 4 seeds of a clone bx I did last year, sprouting in spite of the cold. They’re in the warmest room, in a seed starter with wicking mat, and dome, and the tray sits about and inch above the surface of one of my heaters. 24 hr soak, 24 hour spout. We’ll see. I have another 9 of two strains soaking. I need good, fresh, smoke! Nighty night, all.

I put myself in a bind poppin’ seeds this time. Now I have 8 in veg in 1 gal pots and 12 in the nursery still in solo cups. Something has to finish soon. Both flower tents full of girls between wk3 and wk 9. And it’s going to freeze tonight and tomorrow night! Shit man I’m busier than a box of kittens! SSDD is still good in spite of the oxidation. It lost some flavor and smell but not potency! I would never have that experience cause I smoke the shit up before it gets a decent cure. I find that 21 days sealed in the jar is about right for me. Stay toasty tonight. You need a couple of dogs to sleep with you. Much Love…

One of my favorite lines in his Miracle of Mindfulness is “Do the dishes to DO THE DISHES!” Not thinking about what you’re going to do next…

“How to Fight” was my introduction to Thich Nhat Hanh, and the idea of “telling the truth skillfully” changed my whole paradigm… One concept, in a tiny treatise!
I feel he managed to capture and embody the fact that real, universal truth is simple, and that all of us have an innate ability to remember and comprehend it.

I think if we could get @oleskool830’s beamer rigged up on some pontoons and install a propeller, we could be there pretty quick, maybe.
Of course our GPS on our cell phones may give us a challenge once we’re about 20 miles off of San Diego. 
I suppose we could tie the steering wheel down so we when we get a good bearing to leave on, we can just go til we get there… Plus, it’s a convertible… which will fit right in when we hit the beach.

There’s some kind of idiot-proof tiller-ma-bob that enabled a crazy Canadian(they DO exist) to sail from SF to Asia by way of Hawaii & Polynesia.
He actually set out from Canada’s East Coast to circumnavigate the globe without engine power… I couldn’t find the spot where he describes the “self-steering device” but here’s where I started watching his journey…my birthplace/Marin Co.
Really cool stuff.

Amen! I try but life is unmanageable at times.
One of the things like that I do practice is when I sit down to eat. I EAT and enjoy every bite with no distractions. It’s made me a better cook without a doubt. Every day we get a brand new opportunity to get it right.

Hey bro, hope life is treating you and the famdamnily well. Me?, I’m just riding the rollercoaster of weather that we call ours. It snowed about 12 inches yesterday but was very mild and it shrank a good bit before the day was done. Gonna be mild a couple of days, then a forecast of 12+ inches. Same thing though, I think the temps before the snow prevent any mass accumulation.
Other than that, just listening to the news of an ethnic cleansing going on right in front of us all… in the year 2022. God help us all. peace to you and the family.

It’s incredibly disturbing. I remember when I was in primary school we had drills to practice getting under our desk in fear of the Russian’s impending nuclear attack. I’m still hiding under my desk 60 years later. We can only hope for Putin’s demise to resemble that of Gaddafy’s.

Have you guys gone into heat cussing weather yet? Or, are you still cussing the cold. I know, there’s only one day difference in the two but wondered if you hit that line yet, lol. Gonna be 66 today, but back to snow tomorrow and cold most of the week, but showing warm temps after that. I got a little work done outside yesterday. I pulled all of the old weeds that over ran my rose garden lat summer. Gotta make room for the new ones. They’ll be along shortly, ha.
How’s the FEMA pack holding up? Man, I need a new plant fast. I really screwed up by not having something ready to go into flower. The seed run has about three weeks left and I’m still killing seeds. My seed starter kit came with a mat that wicks moisture up to the coco and seeds. Well, the mat just loads all the water up at once it seems and I lost maybe all 14 seeds I had planted. Every one damped off. There may be one or two that will make it. 3 strains, and one was a bx to a clone I had only 4 seeds from but was really looking forward to them. Looks like I lost all 4. Same with 5 seeds I won from @NugLifeFarms420. I was really looking forward to them; Deathrow Runtz. fuck… ??
Another strain was from a buddy back on Opengrow and I have more of those seeds. It was called Original Geneva’s Kush from Le rat of the Rat’s Stock Seeds. I’m only now getting around to them. It’s “Luke Skywalker (Jedi Kush x KO Kush) x Chem D”.
Jedi is Deathstar x SFV OG.
It sounds dank. Probably 8-9 years old. They popped okay but by the time I realized nothing was going any farther it was too late. One may make it, and possibly one Deathrow Runtz, but I doubt it.
Make sure to keep that sunscreen on. The first couple of weeks of walking around the yard in your speedos can give you a real good burn if not lubed up. Peace

lol, ha… 66º, my mistake, but I will be 67, in exactly one month. Same as @lefthandseeds. 4/20 babies. There was even one more that said their’s was on the same day. Can’t remember now.
So, yeah, actually, I am gonna be 66 today, lol… every day for another month.
