I thought that at first but have not been able to find a bug even with the loupe. At this point I’m gonna spray vegging plants with some Captain Jack and see what happens. I’m down to 6 plants so it might be a good time to bring in Chemical Ali and start over. Rolling it up here for a bit to disinfect. It’s a sad day at Shitkicker Farms. I did get a decent yield from the Apple Friiter so I have some time to assess my predicament while avoiding as much of this oppressive heat and humidity that I can. It’s dangerous for a person of advanced age and breathing issues I hear. Lol!
Good news is, most of the time you can make it to harvest with thrips, they rarely kill the host plant. That Captain Jack’s should work, but avoid using it in flower. Sulfur probably did reduce their numbers a bit. Azadirachtin is apparently an effective treatment as well.

It’s true about the sneaky little fuckers. They literally can run sideways and all sorts of crazy shit. I had them once and I said the same thing…I can’t find one. Then when you get a loupe of magnifier on them, and seem them do it, it’s like, no way. They’re like star wars shit.
Is that what you’ve been fighting? The mildew will look like fresh, white, powder, and can be thick sometimes. If it’s thrips, alone, you may win this battle with yellow stickies and that Plant Therapy. PM is tough once it’s got the hold. If it’s just thrips, don’t chop them just yet.
You might even be able to concoct something with cooking oil, soap, and alcohol. Supposedly that plant therapy uses that stuff to suffocate (soybean oil) and/or dehydrate them with the alcohol.

Sheet, it’s a tough row to hoe going up against mother nature. I’ve been failing more than anything lately. If anything it woke me up and I’m learning more about it all. I never had problems with any of this shit till I moved out here near Dr Doolittle’s ranch. I’m just another form in the food chain, now, just like all of the natural critters around here.
