Damn, bro. I’m just listening to it now. 5 dead, plus shooter… .21 injured… It’s very close to where my partner lives. It’s right in the area that they all shop with there grandkids everyday. I texted him but no response yet. I figure I’d wait a bit because his family is all trying to get a hold of him.
I expected to hear of this one day. I talked to my buddy about it the last visit. I hope that’s the end of it. It sounds like there could be two. He started in Midland if it’s only one. He got pulled over and shot the cop and then took off shooting people at random. smdh.
Be safe my brother…these are indeed different times we live in today. Prayers and vibes to all of my Odessa and midland friends. This is way too close to home for me… as far as the impact. I lived there 6 years and my niece and her family are still there as well as my oldest sister on occasion. She’s lived there in Midland for 40 years maybe.

A 17 month old girl is in the hospital, shot in the mouth, and everybody is patting each other’s backs and "thank you"s all around, for the jobs they all did, cleaning up after another mass shooting. I want to throw up. I shouldn’t be hearing a damn word from elected officials except “we’re sorry”, as in they have all failed us and until they get their shit together they have no business giving thanks.
Sorry bro… I’m getting real sick of these hollow excuses anymore. That most recent press conference by the officials was a fucking joke. They still won’t give any information on anything. Can’t even find out who is dead. And, they made excuses for the AR gun… wtf?

I know dude. The hypocrisy is obscene. I have no problems with the 2nd amendment but I do have a problem with everyday people possessing more firepower than our cops.
And, those laws that went into effect today, is more evidence of stubborn boneheadedness. Or as some would say, insanity. You mean I have to pay overpriced college tuitions but I have to share it with fellow classmates who are allowed to conceal carry all over campus? I don’t think so… Schools? they get more guys with more guns… nope, kids come home if it were me.
I predict another shooting in Texas before October. They’re not finished.

I’m with you bro! It’s just hard to sit out here and smoke my pot all day and say peace at the end of most of my posts, and this shit is what’s really happening in our neighborhoods. I was all over that exact area just 3 weeks ago, or two… That’s the busiest area of Odessa. And I was on hwy. 191 (42nd st.) a few times going up to Midland. I know exactly where he came from and where he went until he got killed. I have a friend who owns a craft brewpub a block away from that theater on the road behind it.
I hate to say it, but maybe Midland/Odessa needed that. They are stuck living in their bubble with tons of money that normally shields them from such nonsense. Many people in that area are sorely out of touch with the rest of the country. But, it also has some of the most ignorant rednecks I’ve ever met… and I came from Alabama…
Dude, I don’t know… I’m just sad for a whole lot of people that just had their world rocked and will all be forgotten by next week. peace

Those are looking real nice bro. I have 5 babies of the Snow Lotus Bx v1 x 2-B (mystery (to us) dad) coming up and ready to go. One may be a dud, but waiting. It’s been peeking but not excited to finish the job. I’m hoping to score a few of those Goji QM… but, I have a feeling my SL x mystery dad beans are going to deliver!

Thanks @GMan! Austin is the only civilized city in the entire state! I’m about 75 miles out in the hills in a small but ultra conservative town. I’m surrounded by Alt-Right, White Supremist, Gun Totin’, Redneck, Religious Zealots. But it sure is perty here.
