Very nice. Do you know is that a crow or a raven?
Mmmmmm. I just made a bunch of nettles last night. They’re my favorite. It’s about the end of the season to harvest them here.
I’m hoping to establish a nice patch in my back wood edge for future harvesting…
Do you eat your nettles?
Nope, generally speaking I don’t eat nettles, but I don’t hate them either.
When my first wife and I first moved to the country, we didn’t have electricity or indoor plumbing. Once in the spring in her rush to relieve herself, (yep, you guessed it!), squatted directly in a big patch of nettles that she fully knew was right there. Oops. Unlike myself, the first wife hates nettles! hehe…
In honor of this being an outdoor event, I will be abandoning my best seat in the house for something more appropriate and comfortable to watch this event unfold!
That will be me in the hammock! Hell Yeah!
Getting bigger every day!
The plants in veg are still doing their thing. Some also need a defoliation soon.
Hey @Pigeonman check this bad ass sound out!
@OhNo555 i’m digging it!
Reminds me of Stratovarious!
And thankfully NOT Dragonforce… fucking fret wankers I almost fell asleep during their set as it all sounds like one very long boring song with a lot of notes.
Chris Adler formerly of Lamb Of God put that group together. I think he has a GR8 sense of talent judgement on talent and a keen ear for a new unique sound. Now I am going to look for Stratovarious as I am digging that driving sound that reminds me of old metal from the late 70s and 80s!
You want ridiculous, you gotta go full on “Art of Life” by X Japan:
This is a 30 minute long live play through of the epic at musical skill level: Japanese
Epic Speed Metal->Sappy Ballad->Epic Speed Metal->10minute Piano solo->Epic Speed Metal->Sappy ballad->etc.
The song is fucking boss.
I got a trio that I have been playing with since I was 16 and a chick that comes down from NJ that plays keyboards, who mom was a concert pianist. We are all in are late 50s and early 60s that have a very distinct sound that are always try to get the music just right. We just enjoy playing together and have alway had a great relationship without the egos and drama . Got to love a great thing when you got it.
Very cool! Would be fun to hear you all jam🍻
This is why we ended up getting our yard certified as a wildlife supportive habitat.
Have a great day folks!
Photo #13 looks like a tiny brown rabbit rather than a swelling bud!
@mota, this my friend is a PawPaw!!
Will the tiny rabbit bud become the fruit itself?
No. Paw Paws grow their fruit mid branch like weirdos!
They are also pollinated by carrion eaters and moths and need a genetically different plant to produce… they are wonderful fuckers tbh.
Gonna sex em this weekend!
@SHSC-1 your gear is totally going boujee native!!!
@Oldtimerunderground mite is right! These things are super cute!
Long waits for updates here i know i know… I’ll be ramping it up soon as the sexed plants are up-potted and vegging out until late May.
For now here’s my local sports-ball team taking a snack break in our yard:
Fuck yeah!
Took some shots this am when running out of the house!
