Outdoor roof garden in the city working with wat I've got

:+1: Awesome. This is the phase when they eat the most aphids (i think) then they pick a spot to form a pupae, uglier & orangey, for week+(?), then they emerge as adults in ladybug form.

Personally, I dig the dragon-esque, little monster juveniles.

Do those lady bug larvae have wings? I saw a weird bug similar yesterday with wings and shooed it off my plant. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Keep the strawberry for a minute. Mine get wonky them come back at times.

Hoping the strawberry plant will bounce back it has once or twice already, I cut off the dead leaves the new growth at the bottom still looks nice and green fingers crossed, if not I’ll still have one not really sure how I’m going to keep them alive all winter hoping wen we move I’ll have more patio space that’s the plan at least

You may not make it through winter unless indoors under lights there.

Ya that’s what I’m afraid of, will be moving in sept we have out grown this tiny place. Planning on upgrading the grow area once we do hopefully will have enough space for the strawberry plant. Who am I kidding I’ll make sure we do I’m fully invested already dreaming of fresh strawberries lol

These summer squash are crazy they just keep growing. Its getting hard to get both in the same pic esp with the two satellite dishes.

Love the bright pink zinnia it’s my favorite so far.

My favorite thing in the morning is checking on not only the plants but also the juvenile ladybugs found one this morning that is in the pupa stage (on it’s way to becoming an adult ladybug) found its molten shell too I’m learning so much all from gardening and I’m loving it all good and bad. It looks like the last pansy has just about had it I would have gotten rid of it already if it wasnt housing my little ladybug army atm if I remember correctly that was where I originally found the ladybug that day🤔

On it way to becoming a ladybug :beetle::sunglasses:

I just cant get over this one squash plants it’s on a roll got a better angle of the biggest one it’s 4 maybe 4.5 inches have been using fishshit on the outside garden as well as the weed and so far it’s going great

Happy growing :seedling:

Try cutting the pansies to the basal growth. You may get some fall blooms before it frosts

Got to say you are doing a great job with the plants, or should I say “Plant Whisperer”.

Well most of the outdoor plants have died off due to 90° plus heat and me being so busy with work and life. The zinnias are still going strong  they are so pretty, and the bell peppers have started growing they look like mini peppers one is a dark purple

Bell peppers this one has 6 so far

The smaller of the two

The zinnias the star of the garden rn
