Outdoor sativa strains for coastal regions

I have always grown indoors in the past but I am wanting to take the plunge and grow a crop outdoors and I was hoping you more experienced folks might make some recommendations for some Sativa strains that finish 8-10 weeks reliably. I’m thinking maybe C99, Jack the Ripper? I’m in zone 8b. I’d love some recommendations. Weather here is Mediterranean but very moist and high in mold and botrytis. I will eventually get a greenhouse up and I can take a run at longer flowering plants, have some Destroyer I picked up off OldSog. :+1:

I found a few, I had scribbled down in my notebook. Purple Satellite is on there as well as Green mountain grape. I think I recall seeing Purple Satellite in old SSSC catalogs or the high times reprints.
Speaking of the old SSSC catalogs, I saw a bank out there with the same name. I am guessing it’s a scam site. Does anyone know?

I have a couple Frankenstein crosses. Going to nab some fem Frankenstein next time they drop. They dang sold out the day before my last order. But a day late and a dollar short is kinda my thing.
I appreciate the Maroc suggestion. Its one I have eyed more than once. I just seem to have a wondering eye when it comes to weed. I know I can’t possibly grow everything but my heart says oh look more weed!
That fatbastard looks intriguing. I wonder about mold resistance with such chunky lineage but you have put that cultivar on my radar.

Fat Bastard for me did not have dense buds at all. No botrytis or PM. I could have run it until frost and snow.

maybe durban poison. almost all sativas go 10 -12 weeks. you probably want sat doms.just semantics probably what you mean. Like jack herer( c99) , ssh and Ace seeds worked landraces. Like Bangi Haze. Or as another person stated stuff from Vermontman aka Green Mountain seeds.

i see you stated green mountain OP. i like chocolate thais. i think picking what you like then spending time keeping males and acclimatizing to your area is the way. There has always been a strong desire for no anxiety/ creative Sativa dome with seasoned growers.

I appreciate the feedback. @Tuned I will add the Fat bastard to my outdoor list. That looked solid loved you put the lowers into that egg crate for the cure.
