My understanding too, so far. The critical mass is a bit short for this imho.
We are fucking loud in the scene, but not that big finally ^^
No. Actually, i don’t care about prices and spend over 1K/yr in various genetics. Beside what i spend to don’t only collect them.
It’s more “WTF ? Boddhi was never a discount retail !”
It’s no longer the case since over a decade buddy, most of our growshops have US labels now.
What you are perceiving as a premium is also paid by american growers (comparatively), here an anonymous chunk at three digits have zero chance of sales. seeds, in general, are a lot more expensive in USA atm. Local retail prices ^^
I was asking myself where it was leading … ^^
Fair enough, well placed lol
That’s the whole point buddy. Seeds aren’t only consumables.
I disagree. For the high tier it’s just a plain joke, even in the quality of the seeds themselves lol Now i understand your perspective, no problemo.
Hell yeah, me the first.
45 bucks : 10 fems of random cookie/chem/kush chunks in loop, hell yeah it’s fucking expensive. No way.
45 bucks : 10 regs of a legend i can play with during decades ? Give me a truck or two of this.
I still think that branding OG is the most rational way. Even in reading again the thread with the new grid.
I did mention twice that I was bias about seed sales. I don’t sell seeds currently, but would love to someday if I ever get my projects to where they are finished(if there is such a thing). It just seems like the barrier to entry is pretty high. I’d say I’m an amature who aspires to be more some day.
I understand that there are some people selling cheaper seeds than the premium prices of others. It seems like there would be more by now.
that would be from the folks who make money when they sell phones and not when phones aren’t sold. in other words, becausde they say you need one and convince you that you do. otherwise, the arguments are all valid. this one isn’t though. just an fyi since i agree with you completely on the rest of it. folks just don’t realize how much works goes into making things run smoothly on the back end until they’ve done it.
OK, that would be true for people who are buying a new phone because of the new and improved camera, like the current one isn’t enough . Some people need a new phone every year. But this is not about them.
Personally, I don’t really care what the ads tell me, I buy a new phone when it starts to feel sluggish or unresponsive.
As operating systems and apps evolve, they become more resource-intensive. Some older phones may no longer support the latest versions of important apps or OS updates, which can limit functionality, create compatibility issues or be vulnerable to exploits. And that’s what I wanted to emphasize: New apps and software updates place increasing demands on older hardware, resulting in slower loading times, less responsive performance, and reduced multitasking capability.
Some technology advancements (recently AI) even require a different hardware (in this case GPU vs CPU) to be equipped in the devices.
I had an IPhone 12 pro and recently switched to the 16 pro and it is significantly better in every way. Battery used to last not even a day now I get multiple days depending on usage. Satellite messaging with friends and family is life changing and Apple intelligence is coming next week. The camera is a huge improvement also. It really depends on what you’re doing. I found the biggest limitation for my iPhone 12 was the battery but also I could only do so many tracks in garage band while taking a shit before it started to say noooooooo. For the average person who just takes calls and web browses, all phones are adequate now. I would say though every 3-4 years is a good time to upgrade instead of every 1-2.
High, @Stiickygreen! Here’s another old fuck’s opinion.
OG is the only site I’m registered on/visit with any regularity. Nowhere else. I’m only on a desktop computer. I’m not particularly computer literate, although, like many geezers, I learned some shit in high school, like how to read.
I had never been on Patreon either. Hell, I’d never heard of it! HA! I found it very easy to navigate, join and donate. I believe I set mine up to automatically donate annually. If I recall correctly, always an ify proposition, there are a number of options available.
There is this thing called video now, it is like pictures but they move and no reading at all just listening and sometimes music is added. Can we get video upload? I like videos.
Hmm, I see it listed. But I don’t think it exists. Perhaps before my time. I can say I am a supporter and a member of team OG and I have never seen any private gallery.
Checked the merch store🧙🏼♂️
Should stock grinders, jars, papers & other headshop supplies with OG branding, maybe make it a bit more “official” with a new domain, face-lift etc. Maybe have some ogs come together with an official Overgrow Cannabis Grow Guide you could sell them make community books n whatnot to sell annually with top tips n tricks, maybe have an annual calendar with user pics chosen for every year, maybe sell sponsored spaces on the calendar for weed related companies etc. the options are endless @LemonadeJoe
