Fantastic job, your grow looks excellent bro-
Don’t worry, chucking pollen ain’t hard…
(Keeping the pollen from leaking and seeding plants you didn’t intend to seed, is where it can get tricky)

Thanks man, I figured it might be. Right now I have a 4x4 and 2x2 set up in my extra bedroom. Going to take the 2 males and set them up in a 2x4 in my basement 2 floors down. That should help a great deal. If I am careful I should be able prevent too much contamination. A lab coat and gloves when dealing with the males won’t hurt either just to keep it from tracking around on my clothes.
I keep my males in my master bathroom upstairs. I always deal with them last then take a shower. Garden nude
TMI !!! Set up a YouTube
Hey it solves the issue of getting pollen on my clothes.
Nice work here Doug! Your generous spirit is remarkable! Good thing plants grow on karma!
In my opinion this was a genetic trait where the width of the root space determines the limit of horizontal growth and branching.
This is a common trait in strains from hash producing countries. The seeds are scattered by hand when people rub the live flowers for charas, or in regions that produce dry sift female plants are chopped and left in the fields to seed.
This results in very densely planted fields. The tallest plants that get the most light ripen first, and are harvested first. Then the lower canopy of smaller plants get light and they grow to maturity, and they are harvested one after the next.
This horizontal growth limit trait prevents light competition and allows the plants to grow slowly in full shade until the plants around it have been harvested, and it has room to grow.
I have seen this in an experiment where I buried seeded lebanese buds in fall, and let them sprout naturally in spring like the farmers in Lebanon do.
This was not a pheno that was cut out for hydro growing, which limits its usefulness for indoor growers in general. I have seen these routinely in the lebanese as well. Makes sense as this PPP is purported to be an old hash / charas plant .
I know what you’re saying, because I know it from Lebanese and Syrian lines. This one was different, and there were several mutants in the seeds I cracked from the original stock from @Hashtree. The tall skinny one was actually a runt initially. I didn’t think it was going to survive, but it pulled through and I culled it.
It’s in that picture, but at this point in the grow, it was about the same height as all the others.
Here it is up close:
Now here it is 1 week later:
Here’s another PPP mutant:
And here’s what I would consider normal (though still very stark) variation in hashplants like you’re talking about (Syrian):
Wow that is some variation for sure. And a big change in 1 week too.
Look at that rung! Growing sideways!!! @DougDawson, congrats!
HOLY GUACAMOLE!
Now those right there are nice!!! Nice growth spurt! Good work, master!
Thanks brother but I think they are the master, I am but the servant. This weekend those 2 males head for isolation.
Looking really good! Cant wait to see some buds on these old gems!
So are you putting the boys in 12/12 and keeping the girls vegging for a couple weeks?
No, they are on 12/12 now. I really did want to veg them longer but I am gone the first week of July and worried about them finishing on time so I got to let er buck. Both holidays I took last year when I had my son taking care of my plants hurt them, in the end I lost months of work. I won’t let that ever happen again. I will finish these off and take a 3 month break to enjoy the cottage/lake/woods. Come sept it’s game on. My medical grow license is now pending so my plant count will go up to 29, I see a Fem seed run on Mimosa Evo coming down the pike:) They have been at 12/12 around a week now and have 2 full months to finish.
Sounds like good plan hope your timing is in order.
Grabs popcorn oh this is good…
