Thanks bud, appreciate the kind words. It’s been really cool to watch these things thrive after the issues when they were young.

Excellent! Those browning hairs are indeed the sign of a successful pollination. The calyxes start to swell pretty soon after the hair is completely receded. And the seeds grow very fast, it’s pretty fun. After the hairs turn and your done collecting pollen, you’re safe to spray the ladies down with water if you want to clean them up so they aren’t so dusty the whole time.

I’m really digging the compact structure and dense flowers of the male on the left.

How long do you plan to keep the males around? How much pollen are you trying to save?

Thanks man. I have no idea how much pollen, I figure all I can get. I have hit it twice now and collected a bit. Have no idea how much of this stuff the job takes but I figure if it’s putting it out I might as well try to collect it. I will go collect some again shortly. I have it in the dark in Tupperware with a dehumidifier in there. I figure I will save some and give the rest out to others who might want to play with it. Any tips?

Always good to see you, rather have your presence than your likes  About to go snag some pollen and will post today’s pics.

Ok so here are your updates. I don’t know if I have collected a bunch of pollen, a little or whtever but I have collected it none the less. Going by the bud sites the plants seem good and the leaves are just frosted with pollen. Them males are doing their thing.

But this way you had my presence twice as much

Yes sir, looks like it took well. Am I correct in my assumption that I just keep collecting pollen until it stops giving it up and than cull the males?

Thanks bud

I usually collect it every day or every other day while they’re really dropping it. You can keep collecting it until you they just stop if you want. I usually only take them to the end if I’m trying to get a lot of pollen for storage or to send out. But you can cut them down now, or any time after. They’ve done their job.

That’s the plan, I dont really know how much pollen one needs to be honest so I figure to just collect what I can. Likely some folks want it to make some crosses. If I can make someone else’s life easier by providing pollen I figure I might as well.

Hey @DougDawson
I wouldn’t mind having a touch of that Paralyzer Semen. Maybe a good cross for my Afghani#1 clone from the Monstercropped momma. What say you?

I say shouldn’t be a problem  I am going to keep collecting it as long as its giving it so should be plenty.

I would very much like some of that pollen. I have 3 that appear to want to live no matter how hard I try to kill them and no idea of sex as of yet. If you are going to dry and share any that is.

Sure bud. I dont want to promise anybody yet but will keep collecting and drying it for storage. Once I figure out how much I got and how much to put in each pack I will divide it up and offer it to those who want it. All I can find is “you dont need much” but still not sure what that means in terms of making up packs.

They have centrifuge tubes on Amazon that are anywhere from like 1-50ml. Might be useful once you figure out your single-serving size for dividing them up.
