Flower always feels longer and more boring than veg to me, especially the last 4 weeks… can’t tell any difference from week to week other than the trichs, and the smells are pretty subdued by then usually. At least during veg you can pick out what branches to clone.

I think it was the choc diesel crosses that were the ones that had high male ratios. I had a cross that had it as a parent and I got a very low female rate (maybe none can’t remember). I do know a few other people got only males with what they popped. Not sure out of how many seeds though.

I tried growing @santero’s Chocolate Kush, and never got a female. San told me it was the Choco Diesel dad. I went through two packs I think
I have 5 more CK that someone sent me, and I’m gonna embrace them for what they are. If all males I’m gonna save them or the pollen to use it in some crosses. I gotta set some of those genes loose. Heh heh.

Hi y’all
Made a selection for the females for clones for the Octopots (main tent ) i only need 4 clones I always take extra
2 ssdd
2 CR
2 nyc sour
All males where culled
Except 1 oxacana and 1 sour deezs ( SDz turned out all males )
I prefer the tops 3 nodes from the top if possible
The Strongest wins
• Rapid rooters soaking in warm water to start ( ring out most of the water )
• take cuts and prepare ( trim off leaves , scar surface of stem , clip remaining leaves ect )
• soak cuts in water (15 to 20 minutes this allows the capillaries to stay open)
• dip in rooting hormone ( i use clonex gel use what you like )
• Place snip in rooter (I cut my rooter 1/2 way throu then place stem into rooter tie closed this keeps the gel on the rooter )
• place cut under dome
• heat mat on timer
• spray with water 2 x a day ( spray bottle is your friend)
Stats

88 degrees Fahrenheit
Heat Matt set on timer on 20 min off 40 min
The clones seem to have responded to the heat mat and humidity dome ( they love humidity around 92 % )
Now I will be taking 9 clones from the oxacana for its own run in the small tent once the big tent is set

Hi all
Took a bunch of clones
Culled all the moms ,except for 1 of each .I’ve learned the hard way to keep them around till the clones root and adjust to there new environment .
The one’s not under the dome are going to end up in the big tent 4 will go in Octopots and one of each strain will also go into fabric bags
I try to let them out of the dome a bit so they harden up a bit
