Hi All OG
Let start this off right pipe lit
And inhale deeply and remember pass it to the left

Time to fill the Octopots @Syn @MysteryMoog
This is how I do it
This is a pic of the mix there should be about 25 % perlite in the mix if not add course perlite

I start by making sure all pieces fit properly and snug
The wick net should fit into the dimples of the bag

Then I use a 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut out as a guide

Fill with a few gallons of mix then light but firmly press in the soil ( a bit firmer in the wicking net )

Remove the bucket and fold off the excess bag ( I don’t fill my bags %

Repeat as needed
Once I transferred plants I pour about 1/2 gal from the top ( this is the only time you top feed) this mix I used 20/20/20 some liquor mycorrhiza (orca) humic acids to help the roots

Then fill the res only to the 1 level
Total ppms 485

I normally use pro-mix/perlite, but do a 50/50 mix. Will that also work?

That works. ! it’s recommended to be 25 to 40 %
You could cut that back a bit next time

I rolled down two inches, looks like you rolled down 6

Anything I can save height wise, I’m willing to do.

Hi to all OG’s

It’s been a week since the last update on the small tents

The little scrog project is at 5 weeks and is being feed every 3 days .5/3/3
Buds are forming nicely and the frost ear one of all is French cookies

And the 24 x 24 tent
The 5 skunk 1 Mel franks have grown feeding them. 20/20-20
300 ppms added a pinch of Epson salts

The 2 autos in the 2 gal fabric bags are poison Rose x cookie devil mr sparkle
They are getting big for 20 days . Feeding 2.5/1/1 till they start flowering then 5/15/26 till the end !

And the 2 ladies in the corner I’ll be taking a few clones then the moms are getting put somewhere in a field just for shitz and giggles

Ok time to get this party started

It’s been 7 days since I filled the Octopots and transplanted the ladies

In the back row the blk delato and the mazer x herijuana have been topped at the 3 node and have responded very well

Front row are
Mamosa evo fem seed and blk n oranges fem seed

Plan is to manifold each plant with 8 tops in the front back row will go for 16 ( clones are already being trained )

I acquired some STS formula by a friend so I’m thinking Im going to take the opportunity to make some fem seeds ! the two clones one black delato and the other from Mazer x herijuana I’ll collect fem pollen , once collected from the clones
then the fun will begin .
This should keep me busy

Now I’ve never used the sts method so any advice or tips
Voodoo spells , buddhist chants ,Native American dances that may invoke good mojo from the garden spirts or leprechauns capable of granting wishes

Topped and spreading her wings
Giving her a second go and leaving her go a full 9 weeks

Barney farms mamosa evo
She’s a week behind the blackened oranges but she’s having no problem adjusting to the Octopot
I’ll mostly likely top her when she it’s 6 nodes
Very nice structure so far

I firmly believe that the manifold technique is key to managing humidity with the Octopots in a small space

I plan on the back 2 going to 16 mains
But the 2 in front will only go to 8 hopefully they’ll catch up a bit . I may change the front 2’s feed to 2/1/1 in hopes of a quicker growth!
All plants roots should be just hitting the res, it’s about 12 days or so . I’ll fill the res from now on .
Feeding 1/1/1 ( jacks 20/20/20) till 1 week before the flip then they’ll go to 2/1/1 for a boost in n till the end of week 2 after flip

The 2 autos are starting to flower they are at day 27
