the flow country. Scottish Highlands. Literally on the doorstep waking up. Miss it tbh.

Zeus a Romanian kill shelter dog. I did technically own this dog but the original owners called me saying they’d made a terrible mistake. Would pay to get him back. I just told them to pick him up don’t want cash

I love Shepherds. They are an absolutely wonderful working dog. Actually, a German Shepherd was the first livestock guardian my wife and I had. I miss him still yet and that’s been at least 25 years. That old boy knew his business and he took his job serious but as soon as he saw me with a tennis ball he was all puppy. lol
Anyone that tells you not to make a pet out of a livestock guardian dog doesn’t know what they are talking about. They can be a pet / friend and still know, and love, their job.
Just my two C’s worth. I’m stoned, and rambling. lol
Old farts are entitled to do that sometimes.

He came to us about 6 months old. And was with us for like 6 months. (And me personally about 3 months) my son liked him a lot. But he was with a Romanian family before that rescued him. And they were lovely people. Only right he went back home
